CHING RESULTS 2018
It's no surprise that Jack Macrae is our Ching winner for 2018. A consummate performance in Rd 23 (where he got 10 AFLCA votes as well) ensured that Macrae won comfortably with 56 votes, well ahead of reigning Ching winner Marcus Bontempelli (43) and Lachie Hunter (41). Toby McLean had a quiet second half to the season and slipped to 4th (39.5 votes) with Hayden Crozier (17) snatching 5th from Josh Dunkley (16).
In the Pups it was an equally comfortable win for Josh Dunkley (29) who finished the season powerfully with 22 votes in the last 9 games. Bailey Williams and Caleb Daniel tied for second on 18 votes ahead of Ed Richards (16) and Aaron Naughton (14.5).
Many thanks to Kermit for collating the results every week. And thanks to everyone who participated through the year. The Ching is a pretty fair reflection of how the players went and is usually a good guide to the best chances for the Charles Sutton Medal.
Here's the final leaderboard after Rd 23:
