A little off track, but noticed a few days ago that Schiavone, Pennetta, Vinci and Errani have all recorded at least 500 career singles wins. What a generation that was, and 4 Fed Cups to show for it.

Haven't watched Sabalenka play before. Girl can hit a ball. I imagine she is pretty bad on her off days as also hitting some errors but really serving it up to Woz at Eastbourne atm.
yes. very bad.

she lost in under an hour in Hobart and couldn't hit it in the court. Was the most one-sided match I watched this year and it was a quarter-final.

Barty will have to play out of her skin to beat Halep in the semis. I wouldn't mind another final between Halep and Svitolina with Halep winning. I'm liking the match up between the two of them.

Can't see anyone beating Halep to the number 1 possie for the rest of the year. defending no points at the US Open remember(she lost to Sharapova 1st round last year)

Perhaps only Kerber can, as she is the only person withing 2000 points for Halep in the race this year.

In cool news, Mertens in #8 in the race. what a year for the Hobart Champ.
