Found this interesting. THe new york times did a survey of tennis peoples(coaches, ex-players etc) to find who has the best shots in the WTA atm. Would recommend a read(it is from October)

Halep dominates the defending categories(no surprise) while Williams kills the mental game. No surprise Barty is the best net player but the fact her 2nd serve is rated so highly is.

New rule:

The WTA is introducing a 25-second shot clock at all Premier events as part of its changes for next season.

The WTA announced that the time taken by players between points will now be visible on a screen during play, with the amount of time allowed also increasing from 20 seconds to 25 seconds.
