He was a fill in at the Renegades and only played a handful of games. I think he scored a 100 or close to it in his first or second knock. Rubbish ever since in Australia.

Banton a bloody good pick up for Brisbane, be interesting to see how they manage all that talent vying for top order spots though (which is definitely a better problem than the Scorchers are facing!).

Reading on Twitter that the Scorchers might be picking up Nicholas Pooran as an international. He'd be a smart signing, there's a lot to like about him as a player, played some good knocks at the World Cup and is currently playing for the top team in the CPL.

Teams with batting problems should be looking at players like Brandon King, he's having a killer CPL right now.
