Hellas Verona in the last week have avoided defeat away to Milan and Lazio and now beaten Juve. Them and Bologna capable of finishing in a european place.
Yeah Bologna are in great form lately

Seems Parma has dropped off though, they were doing well before Xmas

He's flourishing. Been excellent since joining.
The league is better suited for him

Not as many teams press or work as hard off the ball as they would in England/Germany etc, he can play as a bonafide poacher in Serie A, rather than a do it all forward as he had to in England

Sassuolo are dominating this, particularly Berardi who's running the game, yet find themselves trailing SPAL due to an Obiang/Consigli communication error

Sassuolo get a late winner from a Boga header

Berardi set him up with a great inverted cross

Would’ve been nice for Lazio to drop points but will be very happy if Inter get nothing from this

Fabian Ruiz?

Should he be moulded into a forward? Particularly a 10/RF

I swear he seems to perform way more consistently out wide with space so he can get on that left peg more

Kinda feel there's a lot of Ilicic about him potentially

Do not rate Ruiz in CM, not good enough there

I was actually having this thought in my mind not long ago that he has no real set position at the moment and that's why his form is all over the place. But up forward and outwide seems to be his most effective position... he played there a bit early last season and looked pretty good. Great comparison with Ilicic.

It's unreal how overhyped he is though, the praise he gets on social media whenever he does something good is ridiculous. Was a great goal this morning though!

We're turning into cup specialists!!

The only way Lazio win is if Juve drop points against the lesser lights or Lazio beat Juve and Atalanta away (very difficult).

Great finish from Mertens to give us the W

Scratchyish performance aside from tbat , but 3 points on the road always good

Urgh, this 4-3-3 stinks

Ruiz back to central midfield doing nothing, Elmas not doing much either, only really Demme running around doing anything.

Politano quiet out on the right. Mertens up against two big CBs isn't working

Need to get Milik on and change to a 4-2-2-2/4-4-2

Lucky

Got a gift of a penalty early in second half for a clear handball that the ref failed to immediately spot (VAR here), then Ruiz popped up again a few minutes after that

Apart from that, wasn't the greatest performance, but the 3 points is all that matters

With a spike of cases of COV-19 in Lombardy and Veneto, many youth and amatuer games have been postponed or cancelled. Given how rapid the virus seems to be spreading, it has to only be a matter of time before it has an impact on the league Both Milans, Atalanta, Brescia and Verona being the most vulnerable.
