Notts County are the first of the original 12 clubs to be relegated from the Football League. Sad times really, hopefully they won't be down for long.

Over ten years ago Bolton, Sunderland and Portsmouth were almost in the premier league together.

It looks like both of Carlisle's strikers (Hallam Hope and Jamie Devitt) maybe heading elsewhere, if not during the off-season then early in the season.

Relegation is almost a certainty.:(

Good first pre-season friendly for Barnet , 5-1 against non-league Berkhamsted (level 7 on the football pyramid). Probably the only decent result we'll get all year so not too shabby haha

Not really going out on a limb here but Bolton are likely to be relegated again I think.

45 seasons ago Carlisle United played their one and only season in Division One. Since then we have played six seasons in the second tier, 16 seasons in the third tier, will play our 21st season in the fourth tier and one season in the fifth tier. They way our rebuild is going I think this maybe our final season in the fourth tier for some time. At least we will look good in our Mint Green jerseys.

I never really got the concept of this trophy.
A lot of clubs have 46 games seasons plus FA and League Cup games.

Is it considered a worthy trophy or more to give the second string players a run.
Just go to the FA trophy twitter page and you will see lower league club fans saying it’s a farce.

Yeah I've never understood it. That being said, Portsmouth and Sunderland packed out Wembley for the last final
