Is Bury dying?
It's not looking good. It's so tough at that level to stay solvent.

Is Bury dying?
Salford City won their first game in the football league
Would all their games become 3-0 defeats and by default finish last?
I'd imagine they'd just be removed and it becomes a 23 team, 44 game league.
It'd be interesting to see if they give a relegated team a reprieve, or give an extra promotion spot for next season? Never understood why league 2 get 4 promotions and the national league only 2 - would be a good time to look to make it 3 up 3 down for the first 4 divs.
Notts County are the first of the original 12 clubs to be relegated from the Football League. Sad times really, hopefully they won't be down for long.
Looking at the way they have started, they could yet fall further

Just shows how far we've come given we were in exactly the position many of these clubs find themselves in.
If not for the fans we'd be Bury or worse.
Crazy isn't it! Wednesday were on the brink a few years back and were bought out by Mandaric for £1 in 2010 (he also payed off our debts). Club hasn't really hit any great heights like Brighton, but are hopefully building to get back to former glory
