Would not hold my breath on that.
2018- Taryn Thomas - Bid match North Melb
2016 - Harry Perryman Bid matched GWS
2015- Harrison Himmelberg Bid matched GWS
Don't forget that we also got that 2nd round pick swap done because GWS didn't want us to bid on Briggs early and it allowed them to go after Ian Hill..it was a big swap in our favor

Pretty Sure Giant Pete is either a troll, or just wildly uneducated about his own teams draft history in relation to bids!

Neither are particularly flattering

Just make sure you have the bullshite filter turned up to the max. :)
I just have it on in the background but I gave up yesterday. Theres only been 2 trades and one of them was a pick swap. This time last year there was over 20.

Ive reverted to getting notifications from the AFL app on my phone. AFL media love the lies and bullshit just as much as Hutchies trade radio.

GWS still after pick 4? 6 and Hatley for 4 and 28?
We wouldn't be giving up anything other than 4 and Jacobs

They need to pay 2 firsts so that they can take two top 5 players

We aren't handing over second rounders, maybe pick 49 if they really pushed and gave us a player instead of their first next year

You're right Fyfe is a far far better player than Martin has ever been or will be.

Dusty has had 1 good season. 2017.

He's not fit to tie Fyfe's shoelaces.

Dont confuse team success with individual performance. Other than the last 7-8 weeks of this season, Martin has been average since his brownlow.

Fyfe is a generational player, and if not for his only weakness of average footskills, would be in the Leigh Matthews category. Getting him at 20 is amazing, but how often do you get players like Fyfe with pick 20?

You can denigrate Martin all you like, but the fact is he is a top tier elite midfielder of the competition. How often do you get players like that with a top 5 pick? The answer is often.

If GWS need 3 or 4 from Melbourne or us, it could be a draft night live trade.
Can't trade players on draft night.

You have GWS over a barrel, if you bid on Green at 4, they burn pick 6 with nothing left, makes their pick 6 for 12 & 18 a downgrade in points. Time to go for the throat, as others have suggested, 4 & Sauce & a later pick for 6 & Hateley. GWS are swimming in midfielders and adding Green to Ward and Cogs to their GF team. Go for it.

So trading for Sauce would save them the difference between 40 and 60:

From afl.com.au

The Giants were informed by the AFL this week that the compensation package delivered to them courtesy of Adam Tomlinson's departure would be shifted from the second round of the NAB AFL Draft to the third round, should Jacobs arrive as a free agent.

But they go to Melbourne saying "can you beat this ", then play us off
