OMG it’s sooo good live. Recommend it. Ground pass probably better value than going to the main courts. Unless you want to see the Top 10 players.
When we go we go main courts first couple days but the games aren’t that great but it’s mainly because it’s shady and I’m a huge Rafa fan but this year most of the outside courts are shaded now. If I go again I’ll probably go a ground pass next time.

I went to the Rally for Relief thing they had after the Queensland floods

Been to a masters/old champions match when that was in Melbourne

And went to the Davis Cup when it was in Geelong. Got lucky in that i had a specialists appointment that had been booked for me well in advance, so I was having the day off work - that day happened to be the Friday for the start of the Davis Cup, so got tickets for the 3 days

Got to see Lleyton play

I was looking for footage and found it

I didn't actually see it live - I won a free Mars Bar, so I did a lap of the stadium to find one and stopped for a coffee on the way back to my seat, and saw a replay on TV

Then I couldn't find my seat - the fun of seating in GA and not paying attention to what bay you are sitting in

Did someone forget to pay the power bill at Melbourne Arena or was it past the players curfew?

I hear they decided to turn the lights off

Yeah they were off for a few minutes. Somebody accidentally switched them off lol
Better than what they did at KP a couple is years back

It was the winter months & I got back to South Geelong station after work and noticed the lights at the stadium were on - this is 7pm-ish, so VFL training. I went out for dinner & on my way home, we went back past the stadium (my car was still at South Gee station) and the lights were still on & this was approaching 9

Next morning I get to the station around 7 for my morning commute & lights were still on...

I understand that the lights are normally on a timer but for some reason it was turned off that night - would have sucked to live near the stadium that night as those lights can be pretty bright

John McEnroe just told Kyrgios he's going to donate $1000 for every set Kyrgios wins from here on in.

How's that for incentive? :)
Should be for every set he plays, and that way Nick can extend things out to 5 sets each match

Love working in the city! Got on site and getting paid from 5.30, jobs not gonna be ready to start till after 9. Heaps of chicks around! Grouse
