I see it the other way, building a great team takes time and patience.
Those who want instant stimulation just have too much of their time wrapped up in footy.

If we'd kept 24 then Sharp would have been great. A Sharp/Taheny takeaway tonight would have been a nice result but I think long term that having the raft of early picks next year should allow us to pick up a better player.

No doubt a lot of that trade will hinge on what we do with 11 next year plus how Sharp and Gould go but Taheny is exactly what we need and in isolation 3R1s (one of whom cooper stephens) + taheny for TK is a really good deal.

I like goal kickers but will wait and see on this kid... not overly impressive to my eye playing at different level so hard to judge

He needs to work on his consistency and his defensive work in parts but his marking at the highest point and power and skill by foot is really good. Matchwinner at his best great get where we got him.
