So four of the six guys predicted to go top five when the actual footy wrapped up miss the top five (Green, Young, Kemp and Serong.)

Interviews, combine etc all the other shit has too much influence on recruitment.

Not sure how the first statement leads to the second.

When the footy stops and the other stuff starts - Kemp, Serong, Young, Green all slide

There is always movement on anticipated draft charts throughout the year. The more time passes, the more information clubs gather, much of which we are not privy to. The idea that the clubs are making worse decisions the more information they gather needs a bit more evidence to back it up then "the projected top 5 a few months ago isn't the same as the actual top 5".
