There is always movement on anticipated draft charts throughout the year. The more time passes, the more information clubs gather, much of which we are not privy to. The idea that the clubs are making worse decisions the more information they gather needs a bit more evidence to back it up then "the projected top 5 a few months ago isn't the same as the actual top 5".

Yes, but the 'information' should take a back seat to the actual form and talent. I'm not naive enough to believe that there aren't other factors but those factors are obviously driving the decision-making more than the actual footy that was played.
