The more the better. After next years draft we will have a plethora of lefties:
Buddy
Rampe
Blakey
Dawson
Stephens
Campbell
Gulden
Sounds like a gamble. X-factor player who could turn into a goal kicking freak or crash and burn.Better not be Taylor that’s the pick that would make me so nervous

I don't think we have to draft midfielders only. I still hold out hope for Heeney and Mills as part of our core midfield so we need to backfill them with quality options.I’d rather take it at the next pick if need be. Just makes me nervous. Not sure we need a forward either

Still interested to see how Lewis Taylor and Sam Gray slot in and what that mean for the team makeup the next few years.
Just a thought. I think we will do a deal with Port to take their pick 22. We will give overs in order to move up 5 spots.
Pick 27 & 45 (1050 points) will get the deal done. They will need some points for a bid on Mead & pick 27 leaves them perhaps with a pick before a bid.
Bloody disgraceful. How can the AFL be sitting on their hands on this issue? It's ruining the integrity of the draft and the game itself.![]()

Maybe this was about Flanders?
Adelaide were mostly tipped to take McAsey at their pick, weren't they? Are we patting ourselves on the back in error? Reckon we could have traded down and got him at ten myself. And if not, no loss would have had Young instead. Not understanding all the "shock and surprise" around our selection with Stephens at 5 Adelaide was going to take him at 6 right so??
Number five draft pick Dylan Stephens may be in for a culture shock after being drafted to the Sydney Swans.

Well if your nervous I’d say he’s a good one, judging on your Flanders call...Better not be Taylor that’s the pick that would make me so nervous
Well if your nervous I’d say he’s a good one, judging on your Flanders call...
If he was a horse, he’d be near the top of the list on genetics alone...
“TIM KELLY is his mum's second cousin. The Kickett brothers – Dale and Derek – are on his dad's side of the family, while Nicky Winmar and Paddy Ryder are also in his bloodlines.”
judging on your Flanders call...
And yet with all that half the teams wouldn't pick him anywhere according to one bio I read. The mail was "unsure if he was ready to commit to the rigors of AFL life" or someithing like that. Good late round flyer only I hope.Well if your nervous I’d say he’s a good one, judging on your Flanders call...

Meanwhile most professional AFL recruiters would have taken Young 3rd...I had Stephens 3rd on my list- I’m happy. The only one I didn’t want was Young. I didn’t care what mid we took I just wanted a midfielder. Stephens is perfect.

Flanders easily.
Have Flanders best on my board after the obvious 3 (Rowell, Anderson and Green)
Stephens!!
I’d be happy enough either way. Have him at 7, not a huge reach.

The interview than will be crucial as long as the home visit.....also has connection to Buddy Franklin so might be a good role model....but yeah we don’t want another Byron Sumner....who had a lot of talent but not the drive..And yet with all that half the teams wouldn't pick him anywhere according to one bio I read.
