Riccardi has done more at VFL level than any of the above mentioned names - on that basis alone he's a more likely 2020 AFL prospect. Beyond next year who knows, but in the short-term at least he looks much more likely to be AFL ready.

Dunno. He may have but these guys are on our list and been in our system. They have 12mths more knowledge. However its about this selection and this draft. IF there is a player we think is better then regardless of type I see Hine going in that direction.

Also, Wilson coming off significant less base - Im a little optimistic about him. Kean I think is as good if not better than Riccardi now.

They’d get a game ahead of the Frosty Miller medalist? Not for me. The only one of those 4 that would be anywhere near Riccardi is Keane. If we take that path he lobs in on day 1 as our best performed regular VFL player. I’m just not convinced that we’ll take the KP path because I reckon there’ll be better value on the table when we’re on the clock.

Might be behind now, but they are listed know the system and will have another pre-season. If Kelly is fit hes picked first guarantee it ( I think Keane is as good and Wilson will be better )
If a player is better at that pick I reckon Hine will run with it.

I really hope we can trade up to get Jeremy Sharp. Dude is an absolute jet who brings huge outside run and evasiveness to the game.

Not our biggest need given the lack of developing key stocks, but hopefully Riccardi or similar will still be there a bit later.

With our picks, finding a few might be a bit ambitious. I'd be happy with one KPP, one pacy mid with positional scope, but what I want most of all is an aggressive, hard nut, crash in, inside mid.

Kelly has played about 3 games in 18 months and has an underdeveloped physique. He would absolutely not be picked ahead of Riccardi if the choice was between them.

I like the sound of this kid and I'd argue his skill set is a list need also because our midfield group is a little one paced.
