Can't restrict cash bets at pub but odds usually worse

TAB outlets now send big bets off for 'verification' and wind in the odds pretty quickly if you start putting money on oddly specific bets. Haven't come across them flat out rejecting a bet or partially rejecting it but they make the odds bad enough that you lose interest pretty quick.

The over is 0-6 in Saints games this year. Might be worth checking this years Saints playing style vs historical.

Oh thanks for the information, Didn't realise they were that bad, had a look through for that particular line they are 2-4, so not tooo bad

I work at a casino that includes TAB, the other day some guy was betting $150 on roughy horses (10-1+) he won a few then the system forced him to bet no more than $20 sometimes even less, he tried the self service, same thing happened so could be venue related verification. However, betting sports shouldn't have any issue getting down whatever you like.

They've always had different limits for different markets and if you went hard early on a market they've just put up it would always get rejected or reduced.

If you were betting fixed odds racing for Saturday on a Wednesday for example you'd struggle to get more than $200 on. It would come up max bet try $100, then max bet try $50, then max bet try $20 etc.

I'm sure they have gotten worse rejecting and reducing bets since they've started to compete with the corporates on money back and bonus bets etc. They would have to.

Back when I worked at an agency we had a group of ex bookies turned pro punters and they came in and turned over like $90k in an hour on the races placing a thousand dollar bets.

Traders at the other end picked up the turnover spike and dropped the max bet for the outlet to like $50 until they left.

Dodgy stuff rife and certain venues always suspicious

Always a bit dodgy when bets are coming through from a venue when they are outside of their opening hours lol

Got a burner account there that I haven’t used I am saving it for one good bet because I know that’ll be all I get out of it lol
My Brother in Law opened a Neds account on weekend just gone.He deposited $10 from his Pay Pal account.he then tried to place his first bet on an AFL line and it got rejected. He Called Neds and they just used the Management discretion line. His account is only to be used on Racing.....Bottom Feeders

I hope you guys are as petty as me and still keep placing $5-$15 bets depending on the restrictions just so you can squeeze every last cent out of the dogs 😂

Yep. I might not win much off my limitations, but it might cost them when their resources are used on things for my account that could be better used to profit elsewhere! Peak pettiness from me but f*ck them haha

Liking Tom Phillips 30+ @ $5.00. Hasn't done it yet this year but has come very very close and has been in some good form (26, 29, 29 last three games) and should have got 30 on Anzac Day, was on 26 and found himself on the bench and couldn't get back on to the ground for the last 6-7 minutes. Did it 7 times last year with a career high of 38, runs all day so always a chance.

Will also be looking at adding 25+ in some of my SGM's, 1.80 and has done it 4/6 this year.

The odds get boosted nicely by just adding a WC win. 20 disposals and a WC win for $2.60 & 9.5 for 25 and a WC win.

I like this, unfortunately WCE SU narrowed before I could get on. Have gone:

WCE SU/ Hanley 20+ 1U @ $2.60
WCE SU/Hanley 25+ 0.3U @ $9.75
WCE SU/ Hanley 30+ 0.2U @ $81

Neds are horrible but that is weird even for then, $10 first bet of account.
