Collingwood will enter the national draft with five picks - 67, 74, 82, 89, 94.

The Pies’ AFLW performance analyst and list manager, Jess Burger says despite having a series of low picks, the club is confident in the talent it will secure on Tuesday.

“Last year we managed to lock in the best available talent at the earliest opportunities available to us and we are hoping to do the same again this time around,” Burger told collingwoodfc.com.au.

“We feel over the last two drafts we’ve been able to put together a really strong group of players who have added significant value to the list both on and off the field.

“We’ll continue to draft with that in mind to ensure we have diversity and a range of great characters amongst the playing group.”

Having given up several picks for Brianna Davey during April’s trade period, Burger says the Pies are extremely happy and comfortable with the decision that was made.

“Bri brings a wealth of experience to the team and she’s establishing herself really well within the club having taken to the field with our VFLW team this season.

“We know she’s going to bring some really exciting football to our AFLW program and we can’t wait to see her in action.”

Bit hard to pick her when we had no High Draft Picks

More than a few players with Collingwood connections drafted, unfortunately we didn't have high picks to draft a few of younger stars who played in our VFLW flag. Maybe we can entice them back for AFLW 2021?

8. Western Bulldogs - Gemma Lagioia (Oakleigh Chargers) Colllingwood VFLW 2019
27. St Kilda - Nicola Xenos (Oakleigh Chargers) Collingwood VFLW 2019
43. Richmond - Holly Whitford (Melbourne University) Collingwood AFLW 2018-19
52. Carlton - Vaomua Laloifi (Western Bulldogs VFLW) Collingwood VFLW 2018 Good comeback following an ACL injury for us
74. Collingwood - Jordan Membrey (Hawthorn VFLW) Collingwood AFLW 2019
82. Collingwood - Alana Porter (Oakleigh Chargers) Collingwood VFLW 2019
93. Richmond - Emily Harley (Oakleigh Chargers) Collingwood VFLW 2019
96. Richmond - Lauren Tesoriero (Richmond VFLW) Collingwood AFLW 2017-18

And a few details reported about our draftees.

COLLINGWOOD

Kaila Bentvelzen (pick 67, Casey Demons), Jordan Membrey (74, Hawthorn VFLW/Collingwood AFLW), Alana Porter (82, Oakleigh Chargers), Ebony O'Dea (89, GWS), Machaelia Roberts (94, NT Thunder)

Kaila Bentvelzen has played predominantly as a key defender this year for Casey but could also be the answer to the Magpies' forward line woes, who struggled to hit the scoreboard this year.

Hard-working forward/midfielder Jordan Membrey gets another chance at the Pies, having been delisted at the conclusion of the 2019 season, while unicyclist and defender Ebony O'Dea has an opportunity to finally make her AFLW debut after a season at the Giants.

Under-18 player Alana Porter impressed in her time with Collingwood's VFLW side, earning selection for the AFLW team, and speedy 25-year-old Machaelia Roberts will be making the trek down from the Northern Territory.
