The 2019 Alpha League is open for business. As in, you can all start wheeling and dealing trades.

This thread is for discussion and arguing/bitching only.

Use that thread only for making picks.

The draft is set for anytime July/August, whenever.

But as always....all 12 teams MUST cut down to total 34 man rosters, no players on IR, and UNDER the position maximums allowed.

QB-5, RB-8, WR-8, TE-5, PK-3, DT-5, DE-5, LB-5, S-5, CB-5

This must be done before we can draft.

Have updated the SQUADS tab on the spreadsheet below.
Here, you can look at your roster, and how many players (and from what positions) you need to drop before we can start the draft.
See the "CURRENT" number next to your name, and the "MAXIMUM" number to see how far over you are in total, but scroll across your position by position sections to see how many players that you are over the limit.
Also, note that a lot of you have players in the IR section which are not allowed to be there, and these have to be either released or moved to the bench and cut another player from that position.

Only Woodson has everything in perfect order.

We need to have everyone down to 34 total, and under the position limits, before we can proceed.

My keepers are set. For some reason it won't let me drop a couple of players, but that should happen automatically once you progress, right?

If you set your keepers and then we proceed, they will be released.
but it's better to manually release players THEN select your 34 keepers because sometimes people set their keepers, but have selected 9 WRs to keep, or whatever.

because of ineligible IR players.
to move them off IR, you have to also release someone else.
why asking me which players to cut is better because i can manually force by the roster errors as LM

I've done it now. For whatever reason when I clicked the "Drop" button some players disappeared, but seem to be there subsequent times after I dropped some other players

yeah, the new ESPN fantasy site functionality is worse now. the old method you could FORCE thru a cut.

and....if you have players on IR you want to keep, you must first move them off IR, which may mean manually cutting other players to fit them onto the bench.

the sooner we have everyone chosen their keepers, the sooner we can actually start the draft, we don't "have to" wait till July or August, we can get it out of the way quickly early.

There’s no ‘ move’ button next to IR players even though I have heaps of bench space. Does ESPN deliberately make this more sh*t every year?
