B: M Scharenberg - D Moore - J Howe

HF: J Stephenson - B Kinnear - T Varcoe
F: J Elliott - M Cox - J De Goey
R: B Grundy - A Treloar - T Adams

Always good to see B K so well needed

:)

I don't know about the exact positions of the players but in terms of which players you picked I think that this is pretty much spot on, that is, if we get Beams.

eg: I think the backline would line up more like this -

B: Tom Langdon - Lynden Dunn - Brayden Maynard
HB: Jeremy Howe - Darcy Moore - Jack Crisp

Langdon is your staple centre half-back, Moore to be a loose intercept player and put his run and great kick to real use.

Foll: B Grundy - S Pendlebury - S Sidebottom

If we get the monopoly pick 2

From the GF team;
IN: Beams, Dunn, Moore, Elliott, Wells.
OUT: Greenwood, Goldsack, Aish, Mihocek, Mayne.

B: Langdon, Dunn, Crisp
HB: Maynard, Moore, Howe
C: Phillips, Adams, Sidebottom
HF: Beams, Cox, Hoskin-Elliott
F: Stephenson, De Goey, Elliott
FOLL: Grundy, Pendlebury, Treloar
INTER: Varcoe, Thomas, Sier, Wells
EMERG: Scharenberg, Aish, Greenwood, Mayne.

Will obviously depend on Elliott, Moore, Dunn and Wells over their injuries woes.
Also Wells coming into preseason in shape and motivated. If not, then Mayne probably takes his spot again.

Ok, assuming a clean bill of health:

B: Maynard Dunn Howe
HB: Langdon Moore Crisp
C: Sidebottom Beams Pendlebury
HF: Stephenson, Reid, Hoskin-Elliott
F: Elliott Cox De Goey
Foll: Grundy Treloar Adams
Int: Wells Sharenberg, Sier Varcoe

Depth (Given our injury-prone players almost certainly needed): Thomas, Phillips, Aish, Roughead, Greenwood, Mihocek, Broomhead, Goldsack, Mayne, C. Brown, Daicos,

Developing: T Brown, Murphy, whoever we pick up in the draft, McLarty (if he's given a new contract), Crocker (again if given a new contract).

Still some concerns in the key posts but apart from that a devastating machine ready to crush skulls.

B: Maynard ~ Dunn ~ Langdon
HB: Howe ~ Moore ~ Crisp
C: Sidebottom ~ Adams ~ Treloar
HF: Hoskin-Elliott ~ Cox ~ Stephenson
F: Thomas ~ De Goey ~ Elliott
Foll: Grundy ~ Pendlebury ~ Beams
Inter: Phillips ~ Mihocek ~ Sier ~ Scharenberg

Unlucky: Varcoe, Mayne, Greenwood, Goldsack, Aish, Roughead

B. Langdon Dunn Maynard
HB. Howe Moore Crisp
C. Phillips Pendlebury Sidebottom
HF. Hoskin-Elliott Mihocek de Goey
F. Elliott Cox Stephenson
R. Grundy Treloar Adams
I. Beams Sier Thomas Varcoe
E. Scharenberg Aish Mayne Greenwood

Gee that's tough when assuming all fit, which knowing our history won't happen. Roughead in the mix from the start if Dunn isn't right. Billy Elliott a fair injection into the forward line

Langdon - Dunn/Roughead/Goldsack - Maynard
Crisp - Moore - Howe

Sidebottom - Pendlebury - Treloar

WHE - Mihochek - De Goey
Elliott - Cox - Stephenson

Foll: Grundy - Beams - Adams

Interchange: Phillips, Sier, Varcoe, Mayne/Aish/Greenwood

Starting centre bounce could be Grundy, Beams, Adams, Treloar... I know I've listed Pendles as centre but I am not sure he is the best option for centre bounces now. Thoughts? Shuey cut us up and I feel like a centre bounce mid of beams, Treloar, Adams and Grundy could match it in grunt and clearances with any other in the league if all fit.

That would be significant. Adams is a good defensive mid but wins the hard ball, and Beams and Treloar would be clearance specialists in there! Could bump Adams for Sidey in that centre bounce potentially too.

if all goes well with our injuries i would think....
B Howe. Reid. Crisp
H.B Sharanberg, Moore. Pendlebury
c Sidebottom Treloar, Phillips
HF Degoey Mccalty W.H.Elliott
F. Elliott Cox Stephenson
Foll Grundy Beams Adams
Inter Aish,Sier,Langdon, Brown

emerg... Mihocek, Thomas ,Daicos Murphy

I know i t is very wishful thinking with Mccalty , but is he could hold down a key position and improve it would be a huge bonus for us, considering from what i heard he may get the chop.

When it comes to key position injuries and replacements would like to see Roughead get the nod over Dunn and Goldsack a few years younger and can ruck.
I know a lot of us dont agree but i think if fit and healthy ,Reid is in our best 22

B Langdon Roughead Maynard
HB Crisp Moore Howe
C Sidebottom DeGoey Phillips
Foll Grundy Sier Treloar
HF Hoskin-Elliot Mihocek Beams
F Elliot Cox Stephenson
I/C Adams Pendlebury Quaynor Thomas

Going with the assumption that everyone will be fit/ready to play for round 1 except Scharenberg, here is my best 22:

B: Langdon Dunn Maynard

HB: Howe Moore Crisp

C: Treloar Pendlebury Sidebottom

HF: Hoskin-Elliott Mihocek De Goey

F: Thomas Cox Stephenson

R: Grundy Adams Beams

I/C: Phillips Varcoe Sier Mayne

Most notable players to miss out (depth): Goldsack, Greenwood, Brown, Aish, Reid, Elliott, Wells, Roughead.

I expect us to draft Kelly and Quaynor as well, so they'll also likely be in the equation. Thoughts?
