As much as I love Cripps If I was starting a team from scratch tomorrow I'd pick Fyfe first and Grundy second.

Fyfe deserved the medal and well done to him.

Cripps missed some and was down in some. He was huge for the rest.

Cripps sacrificed his game in the tail end of the season and we were a better team as a result. Cripps overachieved for the amount of wins we had.... particularly the votes he got in losses.

Couldnt have done much more in round 21 or 23, the stats speak for themselves, was really hoping he would win, love watching him play

Guess those pundits that had S. Walsh 0 votes were wrong. Umps noticed his brand of awesome. Look out next year!

I was glad to see Walsh get a vote against Sydney in Sydney. Remember that game well. We had been starting terribly under Teaguey and Walsh singlehandedly did something about that with a brilliant 1st Q and a half. Didn't do a heap after that but he actually led us to that win.

Good to see the umps have some nuance.

The Brownlow most years is an award for a shooting star. I know some players bounce back and win it two times and three times but that’s been uncommon.

From memory and, with a little luck, Rod Ashman, Justin Madden and Anthony Koutoufides should have won Brownlow Medals. I want those seasons fully audited by a reputable firm.
