Hurn Barrass Shep
Duggan Gov Jetta
Redden Yeo T Kelly
Ryan Darling Venables
Rioli Kennedy Cripps

Lobb Shuey Hutch

Vardy Sheed Cole Petch/H Brayshaw

Older players to get rested more often particularly when we travel. Lecca, JK, Jetta are the players that should be looked after most.

Sheed to work on his tackling

Masten to be pushed out of the side, i know he is a premiership player now but we can improve on him for next year hopefully.

Find a good replacement for Sammy Mitchell. Van Berlo strikes me as a very good coach but we probably need one more.

The alignment team to be a success would be great also.

Whatever we do i think we will need 3-5 changes just to invigorate the squad.I feel;rightly or wrongly; that the family club thing that worked so well for us this year may well work against us next year.Year older at the top [Hurn,Lecca,JK ] ,kids, won a premiership, it may be hard to get the hunger juices flowing again. We need a few fresh faces and we need to keep playing as many of our squad as possible. If Gaff and Sly go,thats two places, maybe Masten,Lecca possibly Cripps.Darling has given us one great quarter out of eight so O.Allen and Brander will threaten him.We have the depth and we need to maintain the hunger. We are the new Hawthorn! Well weve got a Rioli havnt we? Shepherd is the new Gibson;Duggan will be Hodge;I WANT MORE!!!!!!!

Cripps & Darling in the firing line? What the actual ****.

Sheed will forever be a hero of the club after that grand final goal, and his late season/finals form was very, very good.

That said, for him to go to that next level he has to start tackling: on grand final day, for all his heroics, he was only one of two eagles with 0 in the tackle column. If he can remedy this in the off season and take a leaf out of Yeo and Shueys and start laying and sticking tackles and improving his defensive pressure, he could end up the top line midfielder, A grade player we all hoped he could be.

I also want to see Waterman playing full time out on a wing next season. I forsee him becoming the next Andrew Embley, a tall, mobile winger with a big tank and a part of a lot of scoring chains

For me I would like to start a bit of a transitioning period.

Luckily many of our older players located in the same position.

JJK - Key forward
Hurn - medium defender
Schofield - Key back
Masten - midfielder
Jetta - small defender

We have Sheppard coming back and Duggan and Cole developing. We really need someone for JJK.

Im just gunna ignore you SF your still in the bubble! It is a beautiful place!!
Darling was our best player at the start of the season and Cripps was our best player at the end of the season and you want to transition past them?

It seems you are the one in the bubble, and this bubble is on the moon.

Realistic expectations (and careful development) for Liam Ryan. He's still very raw in AFL terms and I'm not expecting him to tear up the competition just yet. Needs a bit more confidence in his body for a full season as well.
