Why not? He was almost BOG in the ANZAC Day Match after being rushed back. If we're patient, I see absolutely no reason he can't be a bloody good player for us.

Few reasons.

OP is a tricky problem to get right and if not done right in first instance it will cause all sorts of problems in lower body - largely reoccuring soft tissue damage.

He has not played a full season of footy since 2017. That is a fair lay off and we honestly have no idea if he is in the clear medically. Yes, back in med blah blah blah but we know our history in that regard.

Invariably we will over pay and our current major list need is big body mids.

Pick 5s this decade: Rozee, Cerra, Setterfield, Parish, De Goey, Kolodjashnij, Stringer, Buntine, Polec

You'd take maybe De Goey and Rozee ahead of Daniher from that list right now and that's it IMO.
