Interesting, Vic metro only won one game and finished last yet 23 players including 2 extras that never played in the under 18's champs, the most players of all the states.

invitees that are the top talent imo:
Allies: Green, Rosas, Budarick, Cumberland, O'Neill
SA: Day, Finlay, Gould, Hilder, Mead, Park, Pickett, Schoenberg, Shute, D.Stephens, Taheny
VC: Ash, Baldi, Cahill, Comben, De Koning, Dow, Flanders, Kemp, Perez, Rantall, Serong, B.Smith, C.Stephens, Weightman, Young
VM: Anderson, Bergman, Bianco, Bryan, Byrnes, Jones, Maginness, Mahony, McAsey, Rowell, Sharman, Sturgess, D.Williams, Worrell
WA: Garcia, Georgiades, Henry, J.Jackson, L.Jackson, Pasini, Prior, Rivers, Robertson, Ruscoe, Sharp, Taylor

invitees i think are on the cusp imo:
Allies: Delahunty, Martyn
SA: Morris
VC: Chirgwin, Clark, F.Phillips, Rowles, Wareham, L.Williams
VM: Bell, Butler, Cassar, Honey, Jeka, Lewis, Mott, Philp, Ralphsmith
WA: Jamieson, Johnson, O'Connor, Warner

just from a quick look, i think the bottom group are part of a larger group of talent that isnt guaranteed of being drafted, they still have work to do imo.

Am a fan of Reid Kuller, great to see him get an invite, strong centreman, would be good enough for league at other clubs, just that Glenelg are a bit too strong atm

Do they ever post the total results or maybe announce who is actually participating?

As many players who aren’t testing may have been chances to test well

When have we ever looked back on the combine results and taken anything from them in hindsight?

jack watts is the poster child for why the combine needs to be taken with a grain of salt. He dominated pretty much every category that year. Great athlete no doubt but couldn’t play football. Also great at snorting lines off ****. Allegedly.

I would beg to differ on that, a pretty generic and empty comment.

Over the years he has demonstrated a considerable amount of talent and skill, certainly has and continues to warrant a place on an AFL list . How professional and cut out he is in terms of the mentality necessary to go further in the game than the bare minimum is something that can absolutely come under question though. If he weren't such a high profile pick one and a very visible symbol of the crushed hope of the modern era of the Melbourne Football Club then we'd all have shrugged our shoulders.

I get Ruckman don’t often win it... but given Luke Jackson was talked up for his leap(and this helped him being an undersized ruckman) is it a concern he didn’t make the top 10 for either of the jumping categories?

In this case i would agree with you.

Pretty good kick on either foot, but another skill that's hard to pick up as you age, apparently his dad when having kick to kick made him use both feet.

It is disappointing that they don't report the absolute running vertical jump results (they did in 2015 when Nyuon and Chol dominated) as that gives a better indication for Ruckman.
