Time for the AFL to tender out all NAB league and Under 18 championship to a Foxtel with maybe 1 game a week on either a Chanel 7,9,10 or Foxtel with a highlight interview show thrown in.
I like to see the up and coming players coming thru
Why would they put nab league games on foxtel when they are already available to 100% of the public. Games would be better with commentary but it would be hard to find enough people to perform the roles that have knowledge of the league. The afl should also start televising the draft combine and make it an event like the nfl do

Hearing that GC will get pick one and two tomorrow and be able to prelist their two best academy players. Do you feel that is adequate assistance or too much??
With the new consessions can GC prelist their best two academy players Budarick and Gore plus Rosa NT before the draft now???! Next year they will basically get two top 20 players Davies and Jeffery (nt) for free

The AFL just need to support clubs by providing a digital template, a market place platform & equipment for volunteer contributions to digitise, catalogue and archive grassroots footy. The AFL web site is an unthoughtful mess. An investment in new technology could greatly enhance viewing footy. Software can now identify players and provide an Augmented dialog box above the players (Name etc). I see these you-tube videos and just don't know the players. The jumper design could be enhanced for better digital recognition. There is so much the AFL should be doing, instead they're dragging their heals. Just think how long it took them to recognise the benefits of AFLW. If they hired some developers they could make a lot of things easier for supporters. We live in a digital world with machine learning & AI built into developer tools. The AFL have the money, they just need some vision. ohh... surely they could contribute to a work experience program. Instead of roaming Brian they should contribute to roaming amateur commentators to provide some sound.

Is there anyone tracking how many list spots are available on each teams list?
It seems almost impossible to have all of the information about delistings, retirements and trades up to date, let alone work it back against the list spots. Some clubs also don't specify Cat A vs Cat B rookies which can mess up the counting anyway.
