The above post is pretty much what I've noticed us doing draft wise. Get the guys who are sponges and can push through the difficult stuff, we seem to gotten quite a few good players that way in the past.Serious question. If you don’t go for needs with late picks when do you think you should go for them? Are you not a fan of the “ best available “ mantra for your first round pick? My view is late picks are a raffle so you try and get lucky with an area of need rather than select someone who would be competing with say Bont, Dunkley or Macrae for a spot.
