was first for vertical leap. Second for running vertical but didn't feature in the top 10 in any other testsWhat was his endurance testing like at the draft combine like? If he has good endurance with that slicing kick could be a great fit on the opposite wing to Hunter.
Wouldn't need massive production to have a massive impact for us with all our marking targets up forward now

You’re right, you are warped."So Cool", gee wish I had thought of that one, but I am a cruel bastard with a warped sense of humour.

Knightmare sees him playing out of defence as well.
no wonder we are interested lolWe don't know which way the club is going to go. Thought process was if his endurance was good he could get on the end of the handball chains and drive it deep forward. If you focus on metres gained rather than possessions he does look the goods.
Funny how we’re talking about him like he’s already on our list.
Nek minnit we pass on him at #13 and call Kysaiah Pickett ...
It always pays to remember there are seventeen other teams in the competition and if we are excited by aIf you focus on metres gained rather than possessions he does look the goods.

Of all of those (and Kemp) only Bergman has a birthday later than June. He was born in October. Weightman is nearly a year older (January).Looking at player profiles, Bergman is only 53% efficient by foot. Pickett and Weightman 56% (rounded off to the nearest percentage)
McAsey is 76% efficient by foot in comparison. Though defenders do chip it around more.
Also Bergman averages more tackles per game than Pickett
Picket and Weightman barely found much of the ball, but were more active on the scoreboard, especially Weightman by far with 9.3. Picket 2.2 and Bergman 1.3, but no idea what type of shots they were or the difficulty of the shots to compare with others.
Bergman the most consistent of the four, but McAsey is very consistent as well, Bergman also averages 5 marks a game for all the teams he is involved with.
Pickett has to many quiet games in between good ones, Weightman more consistent from the smalls, but Pickett averages almost a tackle more per game.
This is the averages from the Under 18 Carnival, so only a small sample size.
And Power. Bailey Smith was only draft eligible by two weeks. It does slightly add some appeal to Bergman IMO. The unproven hypothesis being that he is playing against competition that is half a year older on average and may have a bit more natural development in him than those players. Dalrymple had a liking for quite a few late-year babies.
And Power. Bailey Smith was only draft eligible by two weeks.
Top 3 for sure. Possibly the top pick. You have to wonder where he'd be in this year's draft if he was a few weeks younger. I'd be inclined to think pick 1.

Think that's pretty spot on although I'm not sure Weightman will be rated that highly by clubs. Think it's more the media/draft watchers linking him to clubs as a need.My read on the state of play would be something like:
Almost certainly gone by our pick; Rowell, Anderson, Green, Young, Jackson, Flanders, Aish, Stephens, Henry (9)
Likely gone by our pick, but possible sliders we strongly consider if available; Serong, Kemp, Robertson, McAsey, Weightman (5)
If those 14 are gone by our pick, the players I'd be most excited by are Bergman, Rantall, Pickett, Gould or Rivers in that rough order.
Having said that, our recruiting team have conducted countless interviews with candidates, their coaches, parents, teachers, associates etc, watched many, many more playing hours, training sessions, combine tests etc and weighed up angles none of us even consider so I'm gonna be pretty excited to back in whoever they choose.
Bias aside, Rowell's year has been better than Smith last year, but only just. If it were me, I'd go for Smith, but in reality I think Gold Coast would take Rowell with 1 and Smith with 2, leaving Anderson as the next bestYou have to wonder where he'd be in this year's draft if he was a few weeks younger. I'd be inclined to think pick 1.
It's probably unlikely thanks to Adelaide and Freo having picks before them, but Stephens could be there at Pick 12. They can then go for Gould with 16 and Day with 18. That's early for Day in my opinion, but lets them take purely SA talent which generally helps with retention. With Port securing pick 16 from the Lions, I wonder how this now affects the draft with 3 Picks(12,16,18) in the 1st round. Will they now target more S.A kids as they have in the past before their F/S Jackson Mead(Dylan Stephans,Will Day,Will Gould or Kysaiah Pickett) or move up by packaging picks if they don't think Dylan Stephens will drop to them.
This could definitely shake loose some potential top 10 talent. Serong, Kemp, Robertson, McAsey, Weightman
Will Gould needs to get his skin folds in check or he’ll sink in the ground round 1
Just buy a cheese grater, they are not that expensive !I’ve seen a picture of him with his shirt off, you could grate cheese on him.
