If Weightman and Pickett both go before our pick Serong could get there.Serong seems likely to be a slider, but unfortunately probably not to us.

Everyone and his dog has done a phantom draft, but I’m wondering if things will go this way:
1. GC: Matt Rowell
2. GC: Noah Anderson
3. Melbourne: Luke Jackson
4. GWS: Hayden Young
5. GWS: Tom Green
6. Sydney: Sam Flanders
7. Adelaide: Lachlan Ash
8. Fremantle: Dylan Stephens
9. Fremantle: Deven Robertson
10. Carlton: Brodie Kemp
11. Fremantle: Liam Henry
12. Melbourne: Kozzie Pickett
13. Hawthorn: Fischer McAsey
14: Port: Caleb Serong
In which case we’d probably be choosing between Weightman (or Pickett if Melbourne goes for Weightman), Bergman, or maybe a surprise like Worrell.
1 Gold Coast - Matthew Rowell
2 Gold Coast - Noah Anderson
3 Melbourne - Luke Jackson
4 GWS - Lachlan Ash
5 GWS - Tom Green
6 Sydney - Sam Flanders
7 Adelaide - Fischer McAsey
8 Fremantle - Hayden Young
9 Fremantle - Deven Robertson
10 Carlton - Dylan Stephens
11 Fremantle - Liam Henry
12 Melbourne - Cody Weightman
13 Hawthorn - Brodie Kemp
14 Port Adelaide - Caleb Serong
15 Western Bulldogs - Miles Bergman
Theories:
1. everyone is gob smacked that Melbourne are apparently taking Jackson, a player of a type they don't need, at least 10 places above where he was generally thought to go based on recruitment of ruckmen in recent drafts. Conclusion, this is a smokescreen, Melbourne have no intention of taking Jackson at pick 3. Jackson will be available at pick 15.
2. Brodie Kemp. Everyone is being a real nice and positive about his knee injury which will see him miss his first season (best case scenario). That is in public. No-one wants to appear a bastard. But hard heads rule on draft night. Watch him slide. He will be available at pick 15.
3. Bergman, this week's pin up bolter boy of the draft will be gone at lease 2 picks before ours, especially in light of 1 and 2 above.
4. Cody Weightman will slide like Jack Higgins did. Over hyped hardworking small forward syndrome. He will be available at pick 15.

1. Think Melbourne go young but no way Jackson makes it passed Freo at the absolute latestTheories:

That's who i like actuallyWonder if we’re considering Worrell?
I seriously doubt Jackson will reach 15. There are a few teams above us, who have average to no rucks. Will be surprised if he goes past GWS, but more so reaches anywhere near our pick.
Hawks fancy themselves with knee injury players, FWIW.
1. Think Melbourne go young but no way Jackson makes it passed Freo at the absolute latest
2. Kemp is possible to slide given teams in the early periods want more ready made players to give there fans something to cling to. However doubt he slides passed port or hawks.
3. Bergman is a bolter no doubt but still don't see him going higher then 15
4. Weightman won't slide. Think teams prefer him over pickett and Taylor and possibly even serong. Won't go passed melb/carlton
Have we shown any interest in Pickett?
Jay Clark running with Melbourne picking Pickett at 10. I was hoping we'd get him but this might help someone like Kemp slide to us.
I'm tipping Kemp will be available at our pick. Do we take the risk? Can we delay gratification? Because he is not likely to get on the park at AFL or VFL level in 2020.
There's a new herald sun article about the draft can someone get through the paywall and post it please
Cheers mate ,sometimes outline works for me sometimes nothttps://outline.com/KLwkqD works for me, though it doesn't show most of the names and clubs (except ours, which is nice)
He would be worth taking a punt on imoI'm tipping Kemp will be available at our pick. Do we take the risk? Can we delay gratification? Because he is not likely to get on the park at AFL or VFL level in 2020.
Cheers mate ,sometimes outline works for me sometimes not
Awesome to know cheersWith Herald Sun, it doesn't work if I just use the Herald Sun link. It works if I use the shortened link from Twitter posts.
If the first 12 fall that way (in whatever order), which seems within the bounds of reason, I could see the next 3 picks being; This is possible, but optimistic,
1 Gold Coast - Matthew Rowell
2 Gold Coast - Noah Anderson
3 Melbourne - Luke Jackson
4 GWS - Lachlan Ash
5 GWS - Tom Green
6 Sydney - Sam Flanders
7 Adelaide - Fischer McAsey
8 Fremantle - Hayden Young
9 Fremantle - Deven Robertson
10 Carlton - Cody weightman
11 Fremantle - Liam Henry
12 Melbourne - kozzie pickett
13 Hawthorn - Dylan Stephens
14 Port Adelaide - Caleb Serong
15 Western Bulldogs - Brodie Kemp
