Im pretty sure now that Power's unwillingness to not trade pick 15 was just so he could troll this board when one of the 5-6 favourites here isn't selected.

The shifting opinions makes for fascinating reading.

I think Gold Coast had pick 15 and probably would have been pissed if Power traded it, Pick 13 he fought to
keep like a cornered Lion, but he could have been just sitting on his hands. The big moves have been made
what ever happens draft night happens I am not fussed.

I guess it is based on his ceiling. According to Matt Balmer he barely trained all year due to shin splints yet still managed to hold himself up and perform reasonably well throughout. Probably speaks well for his character too.

Honestly I think a long kicking outside link up type is a definite need regardless. If his VO2 tests are good he could probably transition to wing in a similar way to Hunter played his whole junior career as a high flying forward too.

Agree on the link up part. He has sufficient pace, and a good engine, so he can work off his opponents, but more so he can mark it well in the air, which is what most of our midfielders cannot seem to do well. Instead of the ball being dropped, thus being staying live, or turned over, we have another player to maintain possession or slow down the play. Imagine a winger that can take a grab from a kick outside the defensive 50, and than launching a booming 60m kick inside 50. That's a proper link up player. Hunter is more of a defensive winger, we lack a true winger. But more importantly he has the ability to play forward, you cannot be one dimensional in todays game. His big knock is lack of possessions, probably one of the easiest things to fix. Its not an athleticism or a skill based weakness. As long as he is clean by foot, and hurts teams with his boot, wingers need to have good to near elite disposal.

I changed it from 13 though it may've been 9 or 5 or 55 for all I know. Thats how closely I watch this stuff.

Is there a post, thread or link somewhere that lists, aggregates or averages out all the phantom drafts and mocks done by respected draft watchers, experts ... and even media commentators?

Preferably one that filters out all the phantoms done before the pick trading that was done over the last week, because those earlier phantoms and mocks will be useless now.

I know Sam held on to pick 13 through trade season but if the 1-2 guys he’s Deadset after are gone I wouldn’t be surprised if he traded pick 13 and 53 for 2 picks in the 20-35 range. Still wish we could trade down a few picks to get McAsey but that’s wishful thinking unfortunately.

Based on nothing, I've got a feeling we'll end up trading out 13 on the night for 2 2nd rounders and a 2020 2nd rounder or 2020 pick swap.

Also missed footy the previous two years because he had a stress fracture in his left foot as a 16 year old and a stress fracture in his right foot as a 17 year old.

Upside or downside? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
