Its seems will Gould has been slipping down the boards, for the draft watchers would he be a good fit for us? I know it doesn't address the speed issue of HB though. He does seem to have a few tools that would be good for us and i certainly like that he has been playing SANFL this season.
Gould is genuinely fast in a straight line. And is a 60m+ kick.

He’s not a real need, but I could see him surpassing Gardiner and Adams in a couple of years.

I’d have him ahead of Starcevich already, on Starcevich’s NEAFL performance yesterday.

We’d have a tall back six.

I believe he should be a top 12 pick. If he slides to our first, he’d have to

Sounds like our kind of pick. Someone that slips down the draft board due to an injury. Also a country boy.
Flynn Perez might be another name to keep an eye on.

Did his acl preseason. Played as a classy HBF as an U17 year old, and was expected to move in to the midfield this year for Bendigo.

Flynn was more wing/half Forward, his brother played mostly back.

When does this all start and what picks do we have?

We currently have picks 17, 19, 32, 42, 50, 86, 104, 122. However, pick 17 is tied to where Collingwood finishes. So it can end up as high as pick 18 (if Collingwood win the flag), or low as pick 15 (if Collingwood and Richmond both lose this weekend).

Trade week starts October 7th, and the National Draft is held on November 27th and 28th.

How did briztoon get got? Over-excited GC board mods?
He was engaging in a debate of sorts with that Gold Coast poster on my ignore list who types like English is his fourth language. Probably got done for that, the GC mods are pretty trigger-happy.

Crozier along with Blake Coleman (Keideans’ younger brother) and Carter Michael all playing in the GF day futures game.

We might have a few mids in the academy to keep an eye on next year.

We have more kids in this years game than any other academy. Swans 2, GWS 1 and GC 1. Lions 3.

Carter Micheal is super clean with his hands and a beautiful judge of the flight of the ball. One of those players who can seem to glide across the field. If he can keep developing he could well be draftworthy this time next year.

We're missing a good leading tall forward. Perhaps Skinner or Ballenden could become that, but I think we need to add another one and see who rises above the others. The guy I'd like to add is Jake Riccardi from Werribee, who finished 2nd in the VFL goalkicking tally this year. Knows how to lead, crash packs and kick straight.

Not expecting much in the draft this year. I think we will trade away our best picks for Ah Chee, B Smith and maybe one other. We may be lucky and pick up an Answerth like player with a later pick and a cpl of academy lads. I think we will be getting our list primed with quality n depth this year thru trade and next year maybe chase a fwd or ruck and go back to the draft to restock our young talent. Should set us up to be a force for many years to come.

Happy to be wrong tho, the miracle workers in charge have surprised me pleasantly the last cpl of years with what they have been able to do.

West Coast has 16 NGA draft prospects for the National draft, Essendon has 12, including Lachlan Johnson, and Richmond and Hawthorn 11 each. A total of 83 players have qualified to be selected under the NGA rules in this draft. Although not a direct comparison, it is nevertheless relevant to note that a total of 13 Academy prospects have been invited to the National Combine (5 of 79), State Combines (6 of 118) and Rookie Me Combine (2). With the exception of Tom Green (GWS), the academy National Combine invitees look to be later round or rookie selections at best. And we look forward to the SA and WA clubs having increased access to NGA's from the Northern Territory and Torres Straight Islands from 2020. So whatever advantage the Northern Academies had produced has now been well and truly reversed, and some. Just what Eddie wanted.

There’s a guy in Ports NGA who’s dad played for the Port Magpies and mum played Netball for Australia. Ridiculous that they get access to him just because he was born overseas
