Draft Central will be updated on Thursday with all player profiles, and next Monday the last power rankings will come out.

I expect Gould’s measurements will be updated then.

On side note, most of the players details are from the beginning of seasons measurements at the preseason testing held by Rookie Me.

I believe Twomey’s last Power Rankings include measurements from the end of season Draft Combine.

Nice to see Trent Bianco up to 178cm and 73kg. That’s the same height as Rory Laird and catching up to Laird’s weight.
Yep and it’s definitely 106kg, Twomey did a couple wrong but ADC will have the right measurements soon.

I'd love to grab Bianco with our second pick.

How many 18 year olds do you know that are living on there own going to uni , working part time and playing in a Grand final in senior SANFL side . Give the kid a break

Might be just a big fella who's still growing and maybe for the reasons you say he doesn't eat well. As a 18 year old living away from home (and working part-time), my diet, like my footy, wasn't too flash.

Sounds like an independent kind of lad, certainly would think he could handle a move interstate without homesick worries, easy enough to transfer uni. He may not fill a direct need now in the backline but he could quickly overtake birchall in the pecking order in a yr. Having gould and payne in the defensive bank for the next cpl of years will pay huge dividends as the back 6 evolves.

I haven’t read/heard a discussion on Gould’s skin folds.

Where did read/hear that?

Haven’t even heard of any recruiters discussing Gould and his combine Physio results publicly.

Not everything is on Bigfooty.
After seeing footage of him would even ONE of you people NOT be surprised to hear that he was 192 cm 106 kg as an 18 yo?
Truck Rutten's playing weight at same height was 102kg as an adult.
I would have guessed 95 kg prior to seeing the results (even that is big for a kid) but I was 11 kg unders.
I can't think of any players at all selected in first round with that weight/height imbalance.
And I repeat I really like him - easier to lose weight than to put it on.
I am just saying this is a trend I have noticed.

I know everything is not on BF.

That’s why I asked you where you read or heard it, so I could go and have a read myself.

I went and saw daniel Rich's first training run when he arrived, I remember at the time he was drafted as a "man child" and he was a unit. I remember him running out beside Luke Power and poor Luke was dwarfed by him. Daniel Rich was 183 cm and 83kg's at the time. About another 10cm and 20kg's doesn't seem such an issue.

Please forgive my intrusion. Luke Jackson seems to be talked up a lot and it will be interesting to see where he goes in the draft. My question: is he more afl ready than Tom Fullarton; is there a comparison between the two beyond the obvious b'ball background? Thank you.

I think jackson is seen as a ruckman first, a bit like brodie grundy, that can go fwd n kick a goal. Fullarton is a second or third tall fwd. Neither would be afl ready next year, fullarton would need to be dominant next year in the neafl to start getting a run in 2021 and i think jackson would at least need a cpl of years learning his craft and developing his body to handle the rigours of afl. Lots of work ahead for both.

If you were to ask which is more likely to have the better afl career, i think jackson has the greater potential.

I don't think Fullarton is as far off as you think. Very talented player and is a pre-season away from being a very good chance of debuting.

From an interview recently Fages mentioned both Ballenden and Fullerton.
Had high hopes for both but Ballenden was a little closer and could push for a call up this year, Fullerton may take a little longer were his words.
But I agree and I think Fullerton is a talent and could push with a good pre-season but will rely on a LTI to be upgraded.

Fullerton is 200 cm and 98kgs according to the club's web site, he is a big unit but out on the field around some of our other big young kids like Payne and Skinner and near Matty eagles he doesn't look as big as he is. With basketball in his background as you would expect he is quick off the mark and has really good hands. He was one of those kids that play a lot of sports into his teenage years and chose the basketball path but by those that saw him play a teenager they say he would have headed high into the draft. There was some comments the Lions had found a way around the draft for him by bringing him in from basketball - believe of that what you will. He looks to me with another full preseason he will put on a bit more bulk across the shoulders other wise he is ready for a go. He runs hard and leads hard, just has to get back into system of footy and knowing where to lead and when and there are young forwards that never learn that. He is one of those players that when he does something good you just go wow - that kids has potential. He is also a pretty good shot at goal with a nice action. It pretty impossible to compare kids, I've watch a lot of him in NEAFL with Ballandene next to him on the field. I personally like Fullerton better he seems to like body contact more and when he fills out I think he will be a player. He doesn't play ruck in the NEAL he plays as a key forward although like all our b ig kids it seems they have to spend some time in there as part of their development.

In the same U15 AA team as Rayner so has potential

I don't see too many candidates available that might be interested in trading a future pick. That is, clubs with a possible need to get into this draft plus not having already having traded a future 1st.

Adelaide - have a bunch of picks but also lost a lot of players
Carlton - nothing between pick 9 and 43
Collingwood - one pick before 60
Dogs - nothing between pick 13 and 53

I didnt realize fullarton was 200cm 98kg, good size if he can throw it around. Add a cpl more kgs in the preseason, then start to dominate, kick bags of goals regularly in the neafl and a shot is well and truely earned. I think ballenden will be given a shot this year if the big O goes down. Can ease him into it, pinch hitting in the ruck with martin, go fwd bring the ball down or clunk a mark. He can be used similar to oscar i guess, maybe better hands and a better kick at goal but not as strong in the ruck. I have read on here ballenden maybe a bit tentative, soft, is that right? Or is he still a bit gangly, needs to fill out and then he'll have more confidence in the contest.

Oscar has amongst the best hands at the club and took lots of great contested marks down the line and inside 50. We missed him a lot vs Carlton when we didn't mark anything down the line.

He was also an incredibly reliable goalkicker until finals came around.

Would be ecstatic if Ballendon was better at both of these than O!

Ballendene topped his draft combine in kicking skills and has continued that, for a big bloke he has great disposal that is true. He can take a good mark and has clean hands that way and helps out pretty efficiently in the ruck. He has good versatility at both ends and that flexibility i think the club likes. He and Skinner both developed that flexibility this year. The thing that does worry me a little about Ballendene is his one on one play, there was a game this year i watched where he was playing full Back and was one on one with the key forward and he go brushed 3 times for 3 easy goals to them. I wouldn't call him soft, but he doesn't crash packs like McStay or Skinner and he doesn't yet have the strength/bulk to wrestle with the monsters. For want of a better description he is more a Hipwood type using his mobility, I cant quite see him forcing his way in it will be more he gets a run through injury at this stage.

According to the Footy Record Fullarton is 199cm and 92kgs.

May well be outdated stats.

Still big by any standards.

I posted somewhere else - yes he is a big unit but when he runs onto the ground with Payne, Eagles, Skinner, Ballendene and Walker he doesn't look so both with those. I'd probably say he is the most mobile of those guys so his size is deceptive.

Yes I think I watcEd the same game on utube. Fairly ordinary effort. However I got the impression that he got a real bake at half time. I thought his contesting was better in the second half of that game and slowly improved over the rest of the year. Maybe he got the message, maybe rose coloured glasses on my behalf. I have been positive on him since that game, still has a way to go.
