They were also upset last year they Dorodo bid on Mosquito (expecting Hawks to match) costing them Bytel and that we traded up to take Hind from them.

Quality drafting all round from our team.

There in lies the difference now with Ratten, prioritising skill over athleticism.

I dont think they ever let Richo make a drafting decision. He was always sat in a far corner away from the laptop.

Hey Sainters, a Tiger fan here in peace. I was just wondering whether many of you had seen much of Nyuon and what your thoughts were on your club not matching his bid?

No one has really seen anything of him and the club hadn't really said much about him at all but quite a few wanted him purely off the basis he was in our academy. I glad StKilda passed since we already have 8 key defenders on the list so didn't need another one. By all reports, he has a lot of potential so should be a good prospect in your VFL team for a few years.

I don't think we saw the need for him with the recruiting of Howard, Abbot, Ryder and Wilkie + Battle showing real promise. These are all the positions Biggy could play.

Just once I'd love to hear from the draft experts, rather than that each player is an out and out star, instead hearing "Wow, gee that's a huge reach from [insert team name], I don't rate this player much at all and there's certainly better talent still available." Might be cruel, but damn would it be more entertaining.
