What's the go with kemp?

Saw he did his ACL but that he's played all over including the midfield? Don't know much about the start aside from the top 2.

Is he a chance to last until end of the first road if we downgraded with gws.

I'd suggest after the injury he will nearly fall outside the top 20. Clubs are all about the now.

There are no real mids at our pick, likely 5-7. I'm not against trading it in the slightest. If we can secure a true mid through the trade of this pick, that would be my preference.

If Rowell, Anderson, Young and Ash go top 4, Serong and Flanders would be around at that 5-7 mark. Flanders I'd be very happy with. Serong - don't rate his kicking so not keen.

He'll definitely slide now. Could make it to Giants first (Essendon pick)

I think it's going to be hard to trade down unless we finish bottom 4 though which looks unlikely.

IMO - we have enough young kids at this stage of our list. We have King and Bytel to come on, who are basically brand new recruits.

I'd like us to get some mature players that compliment our list with this pick.

I know people don't like it, but Jones and Papley to me are worth more than pick 5 at this stage.

If possible, pick 5 and next years first for Whitfield. Or take the risk on the above and hope he comes over as a RFA next year.

Coniglio still not resigned is very interesting. More to play out on that one you sense.

Probably should be in the trade thread but f Steven wants out (say to Geelong) what draft picks could we realistically expect to get for him

This year's first / next year's first / 2nd rounder / a swap of this year's first picks plus their 1st next year?

After the weekends win I am not sure we really need him going forward given his age and the issues he faced this year

Probably a late second unfortunately

Honestly I think the priority pick will be shut down and it might be wishful thinking but I'm think the AFL might lean on Geelong to overpay as a bit of a priority like Ablett. I can see a late first or a second and someone like constable.

Surely without a pp we're zero chance of landing Anderson.
Time to get Calders off GWS and grab Kemp with pick 12-18 that we get from them too.. Value is value at the end of the day..

I go round and round with Caldwell. But three games back from injury and he's straight into the best every game.

If his body holds up, genuine star of the future. Worth the risk for sure. Especially if we get a late first back.

I'm the same, and I'd not want another injured draftee. But "if" we can reap Jye, Kemp and Bytel from picks 6 and 41 then we only need one of them to come good to get our value from it. Jye looks a star, Jack looks a giant version of Sam Mitchell, Kemp l haven't seen but I'll back gringo!

Are you talking Jones and Papley as a pair for 5 - I'd definitely do it

Yep. Sydney are on the rebuild, Longmire gets a free shot for a year or two with his new contract.

Both have said they would like/consider a club change.

Pick 5 gets it done imo. Gives Sydney pick 4 and 5 in the draft and they can go hard rebuilding.

That’s a great trade, I only rate Caldwell as a early second Pick 19-23 ish.

Papley wants to wear the blue and white if North Melbourne. Jones for Carsile.
