If we use p5 in the Hill trade I'll fair dinkum puke.
Many posters have put up much better realistic options to get that deal done, and p5 is right in the sweat spot of the draft.
Trade Jake, Stuv, Seb and a couple of others to acquire some value and hardball freo coz you can bet they'll try and bend us over.

I'd do p5 for Bing or Caldwell and change. After that l struggle to justify it for any of the possibilities mentioned.

He is a big boy, he might play quicker than we think. Would be rapt if we could get him with his dad on the board and an ex Saints player. Its interesting his dad supports us after playing in 2 flags at Hawthorn.

Im disappointed by the lack of Jacks being discussed in this thread . We need to keep the tradition going . We must bring in at least one Jack per season . If no Jacks available then i will accept Josh , Jade , Jimmy , Jake and even John . Can you work out the connection ? lol

Croad and McPharlin went for 1, 20 & 36.
Pick 20 was a bust, but pick 36 was....Sam Mitchell. Amazing
3 years later in 2004 they drafted Roughead, Franklin and Lewis. Again, amazing drafting.
10 years later they had 4 flags.
2 drafts they absolutely nailed.
Everyone credits Pelchen for building that side but he didn’t get there until the start of 2005. Their superstars were already there
