Knightmare has Biggy as his 20th best player of the draft, a bit surprising but would certainly be nice if he turned out to be a top 20 player from this draft.

20. Bigoa Nyuon (St Kilda Next-Generation Academy)

Best position: Key defence

Height, weight: 196cm, 86kg

Recruited from: Dandenong Stingrays

Projected draft range: late-rookie

Plays like: Aliir Aliir

September Rankings: unranked

Rationale: Has been on the edge of the top-20 since June and finally enters the top-20 on the back of others falling and a strong State Combine which included running a remarkable 2.855 second 20m sprint.

Strengths: Intercept marking, reading of the ball in flight, leap, fluid mover, speed, agility, versatility to play key defence, key forward or ruck, shuts down opposition key forwards, leadup marking, power to shrug tackles, clean ground ball winner, spread from contests, blocks for teammates, runs in support, involved in general play, upside, intangibles

Weaknesses: Raw, production

Don't know enough about the potential draftees, but given our picks, might we speculate on an under ager (or whatever the term is) similar to when we picked up Jack Steven with a late pick, supposedly because he was quite young and only just qualified for the draft age wise?

2.85 over 20m is absurd, especially for a guy his size

That's quicker than anyone who tested at the national combine

Say Biggy is bid on at pick 35, what happens? we wont have enough points in 2019 to match the bid.

Would there be points taken off our 4th rd pick next year or our 1st round pick. Or no picks?

One part of the run down says potentially 'late pick to rookie' other part says 'top 20' - go figure?

Except that Melbourne wouldn't do that trade.
We also need to upgrade our Irishman and Dinglands maybe, and take Biggie, whilst they've also stated they want Brownie to stay on and we need another young ruckman.

I'm betting it's something like:
1× value pick draftee
1× Biggie
2× Rookie upgrades

1× Rookie
1× Brownie
How many rookies
Any word on Voss and Milne. Did they get invited to state combine?

So what happens to Tyson Milne and Jackson Voss?

From what I have read they are not good enough. Or at least not good enough to be picked when there is any discount for taking them.
Rookie possibility? Or give them another year. How many overages are the dragons allowed?

Pretty sure it's 3, pending what happens with Brown and Newnes.
2 by my count.
Bruce replaced by Howard
Steven - Hill
Acres - Butler
Longer - Ryder
Pierce (rookie) - Mayo (rookie)
Armitage - Jones
White - Joyce (upgraded)
Joyce (rookie spot) - Marsh (rookie)
Rice - LIST SPOT
Young - LIST SPOT
Rowe - doesn't count as was SSP replacement for McCartin

Not sure what the go with Wilkie is but guessing we will probably leave him on rookie list unless we delist one of Newnes or Brown

I believe we have to use 3 picks in the draft including rookie upgrades. So technically we dont need to delist either of Newnes or Brown.

Reece Conca. GOP
Chad Wingard. Star
Jack Macrae. Star
Matthew Scharenberg. Bust
Caleb Marchbank. GOP

Aaron Francis
Sam Petrevski-Seton
Jaidyn Stephenson
Ben King
Too early to call these guys but the last 2 tracking very well, first 2 possibly busts.

2 possibly 4/9.

Hill/Howard/Ryder all day.

All of the last four look very promising. Stephenson is a star already. Francis looks really good at times so does SPS. Scharenberg can play, he's just always injured.

Say we just top up with mature agers, any chance we would have a look at ex Frankston player Alex Snout?
Had a couple of very good seasons in the NEAFL culminating in being selected in the team of the year.

Looking at his highlights, reminds me of that bloke we gave to Fremantle. 😉

**** P.S. even if you don’t like the highlights the background song makes up for it. 😏

He does move like the Goat.

Is McCartin still on the long term injury list? Does that free up another spot? I honestly can't see how he plays again.

Wouldnt surprise me to see that happen.
But will happen in March for SSP signing window cant see it happening before
