i know it's still early days in this ah chee stuff, but is it just me who thinks this is poor form and a massive waste of time? club has made a statement he's exploring his options, as opposed to jack martin officially requesting a trade. still a small chance he stays with us, but regardless, it just seems a really weird thing to do considering no one really knows his reasons for looking for another club at this stage.

Fair enough but established clubs players cop this all the time. It's my way of showing we exist. On the flip side I shoot my support to current players often.

The Club has bent over backwards for Ah Chee. If he leaves for 70km up the road he deserves to cop it sweet. He is not a 10yo child. Wow we are getting so soft and PC on everything.
If his feelings are hurt well boo hoo.

my only concern is the brisbane link is at this stage only a rumour. if he does go to brisbane however he probably deserves a good serve because that's disgraceful. quit your job from the people that invested in building your skills and helping you to go next door because they offered more coin/success.

Really? I think he is the exact player that clubs would love to get their hands on. Although I think I probably rate him higher than many of our supporters.

To get a talented player, for relatively cheap on a cheap contract. Why the hell wouldn't they?

If he can get his body right he could be a very effective player, versatile set of skills.
I would definitely take a flyer on him at other clubs. Think he fits at lower end clubs who are looking for talent. And more successful clubs who can take their time getting his body right.

Much more valuable than a late second round pick from my perspective.

Mate I love your passion for our club but what’s that point in this ?

He’s had his struggles off field and something little like this could really hurt someone.

I also sent him a message just wishing him all the best and a few other things and the message he sent back was straight from the heart.

He is a bloody great young man that just needs a fresh start

I agree with this. Don't think there's any player i would personally inbox or say something negative on the way out. They've made their decision an angry message can only push them further. I'm always gutted when a player leaves though especially a young guy like Ah Chee.

You make a fair point and I'd love him to stay. If you saw all the past messages with him it's nothing but support. I'm just upset at the thought of losing him.
