I don't get it. Why would we trade them now? Unless they ask for it. The longer they stay the better chance they re-sign. Worry after bye next year.

I seriously believe Brodie Bowes Ainsworth etc could all explode to A/B + Graders even as early as 2020.
And agree with you on that.

Agree Eppo...We just need them to play together... Bowes looked great early in the season, Ainsworth looked really lively late in the season. Brodie a few good games in between that. Need them all playing well TOGETHER. and if they can stay on the park with Crouch, Greenwood and Ellis... we will look like a half decent team!

Probably more importance on keeping players on the park.. have seen for the last 5 years up until the bye fairly competitive then once the injuries mount it’s a downward spiral to the bottom of the ladder and jag the odd win

I'd go with 5 days. Make it one week. 3 days is a bit too short especially if there is a lot of movement.

I honestly didn't think our injuries were THAT awful last year, we just weren't very good.

Doubtful. Papley is their #1 target. Martin is 2nd to him.

Hopefully. There’s got to be at least some natural progression from those three if only in getting injured less. But more importantly we need to improve the depth as well. Should we lose Bowes and Benny for around 8 weeks each like last year, we’re stuffed again. Makes me OK with overpaying slightly for Crouch, if he’s available. Ellis, Greenwood, Crouch added to Dave and Tuk Tuk; plus added improvements from Bowes, Ainsworth, Brodie, Fiorini; an injection of A Grade youth in Rowell and Anderson; with DMac, Powell and Miles as depth plus Rankine cameos, would really give us that AFL level depth of 12 or so players capable of playing through the midfield, necessary to remain competitive for longer and give the opposition something to think about. Automatically alleviates pressure on our defence and fingers crossed we can improve our forward entries.

Great group of inside mids and Ellis. Hoping Powell comes on as a winger. Looked fantastic start of last year then struggled through form and injuries

Powell shouldn't have been playing as much as he did last season. Hopefully 3rd season in he puts a bit more size on because his movement was pretty great.
