Amazing news. I always thought extending two of the three (Rankine, Lukosius, King) would be a massive win for us, given the constant negative narrative out of Victoria.

But. If Lukosius extends too, how good is the clear air for 2020? Enables us to commit to the plan without distraction. Perhaps the first year in many without a disastrous contact situation hanging over our heads.

And all the 2010-17 deadwood cleaned

Congratulations on signing Ben. I don't think St kilda club officials have been out of line with their comments. When speaking to the media you have to look confident and say what makes your club look good. Unfortunately you are a smaller/new club and with what has happened in the past with player retention it sounded pretty bad. i am sure the big clubs in Melbourne would of said the same thing. Our supporters (me included) on the other hand were pretty arrogant about him coming back in next years trade period. I am sure saints will have another crack in a couple of years and hopefully we are competing for finals by then. But hats off to your football department for turning your club environment and culture around. Because after speaking to Jack Scrimshaws sister it sounded like it was a mess. Maybe you guys are onto some thing now.

Fantastic news for you guys. The Saints have been utterly deplorable with their attitude and public comments, of it was in reverse there would be widespread condemnation. Let's hope gubby can wreck their salary cap in time to get max to the suns. It's not much time but if anyone can do it it's him
