Agree. Just as much chance to draft a better player at 20 than 10. Been reported fairly even draft this year. Let's roll the dice.

Better recruitment/list management guys now IMO.
 
Look it looks like there wont be many new draftees for the Suns this year apart from the delightful duo of rowell and anderson along with the pre listed players (there isn't a need to get a whole bunch of draft picks apart form pick 1 and 2 this year because of this)
 
Can someone explain this talk about rosas etc.

I definitely want buderick, rosas and ace with late / pre listed picks.

Buderixk and rosas would definitely get picked up by other teams. Ace a possibility aswell.

Don’t want to leave it to chance. How do we make that happen.

We can pre select all three as academy selections however that’s 3 list spots gone. I suggest just Budarick as Ace and Rosas are similar players and we have Rankine, Ainsworth, McPherson and Holman to play that role

Don’t think you turn away available talent.
Graham wright was just on trade radio before and he was saying best available player at every opportunity.

Buderick could be our next back pocket.
As much as we love nick Holman, Don’t think you pass on a talented local guy just because he’s on our list.

I agree with you but I reckon we would be paying overs potentially pre selecting either. Ace is a no brainer rookie list if we select him. Did Rosas go to the state or national combine? If it was the national combine maybe we hedge our bets and pre select him

Thoughts?
Adelaide probably not super keen but I’d be happy with this.

If Carlton finish 8th next year it values Martin at pick 27 and crouch at pick 6.

Definitely unders and overs for their respective value, but I think worth it given our position.

Of course best years draft picks will be pushed back a bit so likely reduces value of both Martin and crouch.

Rosas will definitely get drafted in the national draft if we don’t pre select him.

You don’t reckon anyone would draft ace in national draft.

Knightmare has him in his top 50 or so.

Yeah obviously. Holman is right there in our best 22.
But saying I wouldn’t not draft rosas or ace because we’ve got Holman.
I’d bring them in addition.
You can have multiple similar position players on your list if they are talented.
