Is putting Rosa and possibly Budarick on the Rookie list morally right for two kids that would be drafted in normal circumstances

Rosas I feel personally was likely to get to the rookie draft. Budarick on the other hand I still think will be main list player.

I take any assistance we can get. This is a great help not having to use the senior spot.

He can find the ball - but he’s playing as a back pocket and I don’t think he anywhere near the athleticism or strength in the contest required to play on your good small forwards of the game.
I think he’s a decent 2nd grade midfielder personally.

One thing I would say is time is on his side. Will only be 20 once the next season roles around. I think he may take a step forward this year that Scheer might have been unable to take.

Carlton’s ability to pull of a pre-season trade heist for Jack Martin will hinge on talks between the silky half-forward and Suns coach Stuart Dew in coming days.
Dew is expected to ask Martin whether there are circumstances in which he would play for the Suns again next year after the aborted trade between the Blues and Gold Coast.

But if he is emphatic about his determination not to play for the Suns there is every chance Gold Coast will not re-draft him in the pre-season draft

Not if they trade #15 and #20 up OR wait til the 2nd day and trade it for future 1st to someone who wants to move up early on the 2nd day....I'm sure they have all scenarios covered...

Seriously all of these never ending pick and dfa windows must cause severe anxiety among some players. Who else could be demoted to the rookie list to get our six draft picks
