Every club has ferals, but South Australians take it to another level. I haven't been to a match over there for a long time, but suspect it hasn't improved. Last time I had a pie thrown at me because I was barracking for a Victorian team. Robert Shaw had his car tyres slashed at Footy Park, when he was coaching the Crows, because his number plates were Victorian. I think the locals were trying to emulate Victorian-level support, but didn't realise Victorian supporters are actually far tamer than their reputation suggests. The pie actually hit someone's umbrella, so splattered over a bunch of Crows' fans & missed me.
Am getting pretty annoyed that Collins and Fiorini haven’t signed extensions yet. Everyone else is all in. They need to pull their heads in and stop being precious.

I think last years draft getting rankine, luko, king, mclennan, graham and everyone else I may have missed a few was our best draft. I haven't looked into potential recruits this year past Rowell and Anderson and it is too earlier to tell I suppose but I think this lot aren't so much the super stars since rowell and anderson are supposed to be some of the few guns. More the solidity and grounding for the club, kinda the last bit of concrete on our foundations.
If you count in the Academy guys then maybe it out does it I suppose time will tell

I mean we don't know how heavily they've been chased. I'd think Fiorini would've been approached for sure, maybe they needed the media hype around lukosius and king to go away before they get to Fiorinin and Collins. I've seen Collin's riding around the gc, I think he's happy here, we jut gotta wait a little longer
Interesting to hear Adelaide's list manager saying they've already had a few discussions about their picks 22/23 at the start of night 2.
We could easily snag a small haul to slide back a few spots having the first pick of the night. I think there will be a number of players left on the board that clubs will clamour for given the evenness of the draft.

Fiorini winning the prestigious Big Footy Medal 2029 should be so overcome with emotion that he immediately signs a new contract and Collins has been given a new life as an AFL player and should sign out of thankfulness

Pull your head in. Collins has played half a season before getting injured. The Suns might not even have a contract in front of him yet. Potentially they want to see how he goes after returning from injury.
Fiorini just had his first injury free season. He takes it to another level next year and he can ask for a fair bit more - why sign early if in his position.

I reckon Fiorini is a good chance to sign on, he's developing nicely as a footballer same kind of attributes as Zac Merrett. He just needs to fully break out into an A grade player now, getting 30+ touches every week.
He grew up going for the pies and with their salary cap, unless he takes minimum wage, i doubt he's that desperate to go home.

Just did my own phantom draft, Obviously Rowell & Anderson, and i reckon we take Gould if Bergman/Robertson/Kemp aren't there. Dew today on AFL radio said we kind of need to strengthen the half back line, so i reckon it would be very wise to take gouldy. Pick 20 i reckon we trade back a few spots Unless we take Rivers/Bianco type

The unnecessary thing is calling them precious when you have no idea the situation that has been presented to them.
I’m taking the balance of probability here that Evans said he had 10 of 14 targets re-signed before King/Luko signed extensions.
Doesn’t take a genius to figure out who the other two are.
Given how good they both are there’s no way Evans/Dew hasn’t approached them and/or management.
They need to sign.
