Given he's played with no heart all year I would be very surprised if he was staying

People are way too harsh on Martin. Is he the leader who teammates follow in hard times? No.

This year he played for the first time in midfield full time and in my opinion he mostly struggled there. It appears to me he does not have a tank and body for it. He looked exhausted in some games. But he did have a couple of great games and yes his body language did not look great in some other games.

Check out his stats. He is closely behind only Macperson and Miller in tackles which contradicts the supposed lack of effort. He also appeared to try too much in some games and looked down on form. I would be very happy if he stays. He is a cream and once we start going up he will star. I would play him only 20-30% in midfield.

Still waiting for people who claimed that Martin will use his injury as an excuse to sit out the rest of season to apologise to Martin

First time post. Just need to vent after hearing those wombats. They are against the Suns priority pick due to miss management. Wonder if they shared that view when the Bombers get handed 1st pick in the draft when their poor players were sat out for a season during the drug scandal. Typical Vic media. But we all know the completion needs a strong Essedon. (Not my view).

I didn't say Martin would the injury as an excuse. I said the club should use it as an excuse as he is playing like dogshit and if he isn't going to play at the Suns next year he would be further driving down his trade value.
