Does anyone on Facebook follow Afl news, trades, rumours and results? Apparently everyone is off to Saint Kilda
not on fb, but ive seen that trend on twitter. They must have a lot of salary cap and plenty of list spots lol

Not sure if anyone knows this but the video below (go to 2:20) reveals Eddie Betts was on the Gold Coast during the bye week this year in mid-June and stayed at Tate Kaesler's house, who happens to be our Development Coach. So has a move to us been on the cards much longer everyone thinks? Clearly Betts is close with Kaesler to spend the bye week with him. Am I looking too much into this?

that's a ripping get well done, also Josh Francou bailed out of Crows last year unhappy so imagine there is a connection there as well probably helps us with Greenwood too, nice work

Everyone just trolls the page now 😂 It makes me laugh which I needed after this disaster season
I do love this part of the season (I mean trade speculating season) its so entertaining. They may be linked to a thousand players, but probably only get a couple.

Good find mate look who was also on the Gold Coast that same weekend

No and No from me.
Jong very injury prone (last thing we need)
Masten similar to players we recruited last year.
OK but nothing special.
Yep, you would only be clogging up your list by adding more fringe players from other clubs. I like the Burgoyne deal if it happens.

Lin jong the most SPP, but train with GCS first if not up to it no need to sign him up.something like what Richmond do with maverick Weller, one year and said goodbye.

I make it a point not to follow these sorts of accounts on any social media platforms. You may as well be reading BigFooty. 97% false.

She is an American girl who loves the Surf he is a GOOD chance to come. She loves the GC apparently.
SO l'm told.
Selling the partner on the place is half the battle. This is a good opportunity for the Suns, they need to be aggressive and offer a long term deal. And then do the same with his mate Alex Keath, who might be a good chance to come with a long term offer and his best friend along for the ride. Unless Keath really hated the coast first time around. It's rare that you can get players who provide the wisdom of age without their body having taken a serious pounding for a decade, grab it with both hands.

Herald Sun this morning:

BEN KING

Gold Coast prodigy Ben King will reject advances from St Kilda this trade period and remain at the Suns for next season.

The Saints have brought forward their strong interest in King, 19, as part of a bold plan to slot him alongside his twin brother Max for 2020.

The club even tweeted only minutes after the Suns took Ben King at pick No. 6 on the night of last year’s draft “Ben, if you ever want to come home” alongside a winking emoji.

The heist would take some major manoeuvring as the Saints only have one pick (No. 5) inside the first 50 selections of this year’s draft.

But Ben King’s manager Robbie D’Orazio said the gun big man would certainly honour his contract at the Suns and play up north next season.

SHAUN BURGOYNE

Will fly north to tour the Gold Coast facilities this week as he continues to weigh up his future. Going to be hard to knock back a superior three-year offer from the Suns. Likely to head north.

ISAAC SMITH

Not being actively shopped around but Gold Coast has knocked on the door and remain interested in the veteran Hawk. It would take an attractive three-year deal but Smith remains a realistic target for the Suns.

BRANDON ELLIS

Carlton pulled the rug out from under him after a season of chasing the free agent hard. The Ellis camp feels let down by Carlton’s process, but other suitors have emerged including Gold Coast. Hawthorn has missed out on Stephen Coniglio. Would they be interested given Jarman Impey’s ACL recovery and their free cap space.

As I said, Gold Coast was the only club to contact him but his girlfriend wasn't too keen on a move.

Job offer only came up in the last couple of days and he was already undecided on picking between VFL and Gold Coast
No loss really but it does make you wonder about commitment to his career and sport if he takes VFL over continuing an AFL career on the GC just because his GF wasn't keen on a move....and of course there's no shortage of that commodity up here.

When an opposition poster or even a so called Suns poster says “debutant” in their profile you surely have to have a more than high amount of scepticism about their content
Dude, I was just passing on what I'd heard from his brother. Apologies for trying to contribute to your board
