I'd bring Tex up here if he wanted to come. Twice voted captain of the year by his peers — a pretty ringing endorsement — and I think Barrett (for once) is on the money suggesting the problems at the Crows have made Tex look poor. He'd be very good for developing our young forwards, and is a pretty loyal team-oriented type, with a fantastic kick on him.

Nah, people keep saying help to develop players, who did Tex help develop with Adelaide? Himmelberg? Forgathy? Charlie Cameron? Parking 2mp, Sam Day in NEAFL also won't help, you are a big fan of Brodie you should knew that.

But do you have enough? And in all areas of the ground? Because if that were the case, I can't see why the Suns would be pursuing both Burgoyne and Betts so hard. I can see exactly how Betts would directly help Rankine, and I can see exactly how Tex would do the same for King and any other young key forward.

And leadership aside, Tex would be worth getting for his ability alone. I want him at the Lions for that reason. Forwards who can consistently kick 40 goals a season don't grow on trees.

I don't mind leader, but every f*** trade season is about getting leader and mature body, all this leader should have come when GCS got multiple second Rd and third round pick before trading to Brisbane and Eagles not after. GCS have no more second Rd pick so don't come in and suggest players, especially you only want to paid a third round pick for ah chee and a second Rd for Martin.

Nobody talk about GHS and Murdoch now, last year healy Caroline all said these players are good for Gold Coast.

Betts would help the young academy forwards that you may draft too - perfect mentor

Probably would be the worst player you could be bringing to the Suns

Walker is the type of captain/leader that would be dedicated to 'His' team that he has owned and would struggle to adapt to another team this late in his career and also is probably so mentally damaged now that he wouldnt be able to give his 100% even if it was still good enough.
