you'd hope we don't have to tell them to watch.
Riordan looked great in his few games. A pre-season under his belt. I'll back him in

Cameron was at Tigers when they drafted Ellis.

Unfortunately we have seen recruiters like Clayton bang on with reclamation projects like Jarrad Grant.

Let's hope 2020 we have nailed the draft and the injury Gods are kind for once.

What was his exact role at Richmond? I know it says he was GM of Football but did that include drafting or was that still left to Francis Jackson?

Clarko and Bolton were at the Gabba yesterday. For one second I don't believe they were there just to support Fagan. Could they have chat with Ah Chee, Martin, some other Suns/Lions players?

martin and ah chee unlikely to still be on gc atm?

Looks like it's Snortman vs Browne. Thrilling stuff [emoji3]
My tomato sauce tells me that Burgoyne will be at the Suns.
He wants to hit 400 games and the stalks couldn’t promise him more than a 12 month contract, hence the notice had been given. With respect to his contract, payments would not be on our books or form part there of our salary cap as they would be disbursed as a player ambassador role and paid accordingly. Let’s just hope this tomato sauce doesn’t blow up in my face cause I’ve called it now! #ballsontheline This ones for you #tombrowne ;) 742968

Ricky Nixon (yes, I know) tweeting that Port are making a big play for Lukosius.
Also says we are interested in Lin Jong, Fletcher Roberts, Ben Keays, Brandon Ellis, Lewis Taylor.... Ricky needs to put the cork back in the bottle at 10am.

I am not a fan of Ellis but I posted before that he does tick a few boxes for us.

Not too old so that in 3 or 4 years time he has a good chance to still be best 22 for us.
No injury history to speak of.
Runs a lot, always on the outside. (More room for Brodie and someone to receive his handball!!!!)
Won't cost us draft picks.
Comes from a well drilled defensive team.

Of course, if he was worth the money he would be picked up by another club in Melbourne.

Unfortunately, at this point in our journey we don't get to be picky. We will have to overpay in either years or $ per year to get mature players in who will be clear best 22 atm.

And we absolutely need more of them next year after we have used our one time only pp #1. I think we all realise that we have to start seeing improvement next year. Not in wins but in season long competitiveness.

This has all the warning signs of another long term signing failure but I can see why we will do it.

Like all self absorbed narcissistic people even when he is universally considered an absolute embarrassment he must still seek attention.
More toward sociopath a level higher.

Reasonable player in a top side ,will be very average in a weaker team.
If we think we need to overpay average footballers it will make it very difficult to improve going forward.
Smart recruiting and trading is everything.
