Dodged the question about if he will re-sign next year nicely.

Connors also went into bat For the Suns said they are a good club now heading in the right direction.

And that they will not be taking advantage of by management looking for outrageous money or club looking to steal players cheaply.

Also said suns have a few good names coming in this year.

Said they deserve a priority pick this year.
Also said giants had the advantage of coming into the league after us and that our draft year in 2010 was very poor and it was just bad timing.

Pykes coaching and the massive (and it was massive unrest at the Crows) is the reason behind many under performing players this year. Greenwood has a very big upside he'll be a very good pick up. Bank it.

There's a reason clubs don't go to the PSD much. It'd hurt the working relationship between the two sides. Suppose the Crouch to Gold Coast rumours were actually true, Adelaide would be less likely to strike a fair deal for him given they'd be annoyed with Gold Coast for refusing to deal on Greenwood. That's the risk.

Suppose the Crouch to Gold Coast rumours were actually true, Adelaide would be less likely to strike a fair deal for him given they'd be annoyed with Gold Coast for refusing to deal on Greenwood. That's the risk.

Granted, although if your the Crows you try to get something but they also need to be self aware that your not going to get full tote odds given their bargaining position.

1st (& probably 2nd) pick in the draft are a good start, plus the players mentioned in the media would be enough to qualify for a "few good players". Hopefully there's some even better players coming in that we don't know about yet to help counteract the couple of good players we know are leaving.
