I despise Morrison too, but teams do share nicknames across sports, and Southport have had it for decades. If it's any consolation, I can't see Cronulla existing in their current form in 20 years time.

You say this, but Durban is basically South Africa's version of the Gold Coast and their rugby team is called the Sharks. I'm sure people still go into the water down in Cronulla too.

I think 2018 will go down as a super draft.

Unfortunately for us 2016 draft was headlined by 2 great players in McCluggage and Taranto and then a bunch of pretty good players (and Scrimshaw).

Apparently it was our fault for getting big name mature age recruits (Ablett and.....*crickets*) and not playing the kids and accepting a few beltings
