probably a good chance the rookie list was being cleared weeks ago unfortunately to the likes of scheer but new opportunities to rosa's, Gore and the other academy boys who can now walk straight onto an AFL list.

With the new Darwin territory and the expanded Rookie list, how about Cyril Rioli sitting on our Rookie list and also a mentor to the Darwin kids coming through? Tell me it's not possible otherwise I'll stew over the possibility too long!

The Suns are set to immediately benefit from the revised Academy rules, with Queenslanders Connor Budarick and Hewago 'Ace' Oea and Darwin's Malcolm Rosas all considered draftable.

Small defender-midfielder Budarick was expected to draw a bid as early as the second round, while speedy forwards Oea and Rosas are further down the board.

Kieren Parnell, who is originally from Alice Springs but now lives in Darwin, played for NT Thunder this season and might also be in the mix.

Other Queenslanders to watch in the coming years include 194cm defender Jack Johnston (2020) and 175cm backman Austin Harris (2021) who was an under-16 All Australian in 2019.

Darwin's Joel Jeffrey will be up for grabs next year after kicking two goals and showing some exciting glimpses in the 'Futures' clash at the weekend.

Brodie Lake, another Top End prospect who is completing his schooling in Western Australia, joined Harris in this year's under-16 All Australian squad.

Greenwood on 350-400k is very cheap given his capabilities. I'm surprised we got him that cheap.

Really important you don't over pay any more. Greenwood, Crows offer two years, you offer four and he's out of contract, don't overpay for him, let him go to the PSD if necessary. After recent disasters your traders really need to nail this period and show you're finally tough traders.

Said he was a prodigy here on the Coast- so far ahead of any other kid at his stage of development
Not sure what that says about junior footy here on the Coast and /or Brad

I think for greenwood they are saying 350k-400. Not really overpaying too much.
