Great group of inside mids and Ellis. Hoping Powell comes on as a winger. Looked fantastic start of last year then struggled through form and injuries

Yeah can definitely see we need more outside speed / firepower. Anderson / Rowell might play a little more outside early to protect their bodies. Will be interesting to see who else’s names pop up over the trade / draft period.

Anderson will play forward as he is great overhead and strong around goals. Rowell is so good on the inside and good with his hands that it would waste him playing outside. He is a pack smashing, clearance winning player.

Closer to a DeGoey then a Stephenson. Well built marking lead up forward. Should trouble defenders from day 1. Once he gets some more core strength he will be even scarier.

Not much difference between the Rookie and Senior List AFAIK. First injury (about January) we get we could promote him!

Also why we wouldn’t trade him now while contracted to maximise the value l. They have a lot to answer for if he jumps ship.

Gone are the days of second guessing recruits and being clever about their intentions
Taking a guy ranked 15 at 3 etc
You just take the very best available and if they walk you have a much better chance of recycling the pick at least into something worthwhile #JackLeslie
Our future lies in local homegrown talent but that's a while away

Wouldn’t want to ever play him totally outside but Rowell is so clean with his hands and disposal it might be better for him / us early on to have him receiving from the likes of Brodie, Miles etc. to distribute to a teammate in a better position.
Was interesting watching the NAB League GF that one of the commentators suggested he plays like the traditional centreman. Just staying in the right position either on or slightly off the ball, then darting in when required offensively or defensively as needed. Just a smart footballer already.

Yeah he is a smart footballer, stays in the right areas, hits packs at paces, wins the ball and either distributes by hand or take a few steps and kicks it. He is going to be great. Will take a little bit to adjust to the pace of the AFL as while he has a bit of toe he isn’t super fast. Just smart with the way he uses his speed so far. Cannot wait to see him play

We can’t expect a first rounder for Martin, he was dropped the NEAFL this year on the back of shithouse form and he hasn’t done a whole lot. It’s gonna be a early 2nd rounder and that’s about it.

He's an absolute disgrace. His fat head houses a brain the size of a pea.
His whole life has been spent in an AFL bubble at Port Adelaide and Geelong.
His two Clubs were in existence for 239 YEARS combined before his fat head came on the scene. He should be absolutely disqualified from talking about a 9 year old Club in a non traditional Australian Rules area.
