Unless there’s a better player available, yes.So you've got us taking him in the PSD?
Carlton won’t use #9 on him if he goes to the ND, and he won’t last to #43. If he goes to the PSD, he needs to get past us and the Dees, who need outside skill.

It's businessProbably, I'm softening on it though.
Does that help the morale of the group.. I don't know.
Wish a (fair) deal was done TBH.
Wish we had Craig Cameron the last 5 years
This is my opinion of it as well FWIW. I hope this doesn't have negative flow through the group and the AFL, but who knows.Probably, I'm softening on it though.

He can re-sign for 1 year and he can be a free agent next year and go wherever he wants and we can get some FA compo.
Our future second and third values him at pick 15/16. Even fairer.Pick 9 + Carlton future second ~pick 30
for
Martin and pick 15
Values him at 18
That is very fair.
Exactly. No way I want him back. He was borderline embarrasing in the second half of the season. So we lost pick 30 or something. Who cares. We got plenty. It's a statement to other teams - don't f* with us. Pay fair price.I don’t want Martin back - its a publicised lesson for future players
don’t bother “nominating” the club you want to go if they don’t want to deal a fair hand. Otherwise you get pot luck in the draft and go anywhere
we’re not the AFL’s kindergarten
Don’t care either way, just happy we didn’t bend over and take it in a trade for once. Carlton have to now RISK us or Melbourne taking him before they can. Sends a message we aren’t pushoverslet's all make a pact not to get upset when carlton draft jack at the national draft/psd, as we would then actually lose him for nothing hahah.
Except if he ends up at Carlton for free, then it's statement "f#ck with us all U want".Exactly. No way I want him back. He was borderline embarrasing in the second half of the season. So we lost pick 20 or something. Who cares. We got plenty. It's a statement to other teams - don't f* with us.
Only works for Carlton cause they have pick 4 - if you were a top 8 club trying to raid us tough luck!Except if he ends up at Carlton for free, then it's statement "f#ck with us all U want".
I am very interested to see how this plays out.
You think Melbourne will not be interested? We do have option to pick him up in PSD. Or will he last until pick 9 in ND? Martin is probably piss off with Carlton right now. Our offer was very fair. What Carlton offered is a joke. No guarantee at all he will end up with Carlton.Except if he ends up at Carlton for free, then it's statement "f#ck with us all U want".

Funny how most Suns supporters are happy and content tonight and Carlton supporters are well not. Tide is changing.Hahaha the Carlton board is amazing right now. Never seen such a meltdown in my life. They think they're getting Martin for free now too [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
