Mate, I'm here for genuine discussion, not to sh!t on your team.

I do have a different view of your teams projected time line than many of your own fans, but that's not a negative towards your team.

As for the comparison discussion, Sam Walsh is on another level to Rowell. Yes they play different, but for me, Rowell is vanilla like Andrew Brayshaw. He's a hard nut clearance specialist, but so is James Worpel, and he went at pick 45.

This is not a strong draft for inside bulls, but there should be quite a number of good inside mids available in the early to middle second round.

I understand what you're saying about being risk adverse with your first pick, but I'd be much happier with a Brodie Kemp as a fan.
From what I have seen Flanders is better than all of them

Rowell, who has grown up a Carlton fan and trained with the club during the pre-season, is not daunted by the possibility of the move to Queensland, particularly after being interviewed by the Suns' recruiting team.

"I think all of the clubs are great and have good support around, so Gold Coast would be a great club," he said.

"They've done the home visit and I've met with a few of them and been very impressed by them, and they're really nice guys."

Fantasia looking to move from Bombers to Port. Would think it would take at least their 1st Rd pick.

Puts the Bombers back in the frame for Jack Martin (if they still want him).

I imagine it would put them on the back-burner in regard to any pursuit of Rankine over the next couple of years too.

I have officially hit the worried portion about our 3 young guns not re-signing, and I try to stay as positive as possible. But this seems to be dragging to the point I am beginning to get slightly pessimistic.

That Luko and King are still living at Evans's house and not gone out and put down any roots is not a great sign.

What a game U18, Brodie Kemp please, this Brodie can play HF and HB Too.
Rowell, Kemp, Gould and Budarick.

Wouldn’t mind getting Deven Robertson from WA
Just broke Walshes record for touches over the carnival
Still needs to polish his kicking but kicking can be cleaned up.
Finding the ball not so much

With the Lions pick I would take whoever is left out of / or 1 of O'Neil, Robertson or Schoenberg.

Skinny flankers need not apply, ready made players only.

If we are Pick 1 then have you got in mind something we can do with pick 1 in the PSD?

No one has used the PSD for a player of note for over a decade.

Actually my brother-in-law went #1 in the PSD and he was one of the last to go that route. Players don't like to leave a sour taste by leaving their old club for nothing.

Having that pick does afford you the ability to use it as leverage for an uncontracted player so you don't get bent over on the trade. E,g, Blakely with Freo

From what I’ve noticed with his predictions he just seems to throw darts and his strike rate is pretty low in throwing them.
In terms of his hate of the Gold Coast well after his dirty slimy acts taking advantage of an off the rails and vulnerable teenage girl, the work done by the mental health professionals at Currumbin saw him come back from the brink so if he had any class at all in him (which we all know he doesn’t) then he’d have some affection for our community.
