Now imagine blaming everyone else for you own flaws. The Carlton Football Club failed to make the trade so we can do without the petulance please. We had zero obligation to honour "the deal". Our only obligation was to our club.

We clearly didn't have a deal.
We had agreed to trade for your 2020 1st, but obviously SOS backed out of that, so a deal couldn't be struck.
We loved the death riding thread until Melbourne went backwards and the AFL stepped in to give Gold Coast an extra pick. Carlton were doing their side of the deal by remaining s**t, and seeing as how their key forwards keep getting injured in this off season, it looks like that's going to stay.

To be fair to Carlton supporters in general, it's only one Carlton Flog who has had the stupidity to come posting this garbage on our board this time.
It's no different from subaru, constantly trolling Port Adelaide. It's only one idiot, yet the whole brand gets tarred with the same brush because of them.

This really is all a moot point. All year all we heard was how they were going to use whatever pick they got from the crows to trade for a player. Since that all fell through they came up with a series of half baked scattergun 'strategies' at the draft and ended up with a late 1st and an early 2nd for that pick 9. Got lucky kemp was there but my lord..philp..what a reach. So for their pick trade with us they have 2 what look to be average players in stocker and philp and a guy that could be very good in kemp...IF he can avoid redoing the ACL and i struggle to think of a top junior that has overcome one and gone on for a full career without doing one again. But i really hope he doesn't redo it because he looks a real player

It wasn't just a "player" they were bringing in, it was a superstar, an elite player of the competition. LOL. If Jack Martin manages to play good footy for the first 2 years of his contract, expect a trade request to another Melbourne club. If he doesn't, which is more likely, then it's an insane contract they've offered him.

No. None of us have any proof any of this even occured. No one actually involved with it has said anything.
The media reports suggest a confusion between Adelaide and Carlton about the terms of the deal. What that confusion is could be anything. My version is as valid as anything a Carlton flog comes to our board to suggest - as in, it's not valid at all.
